IMAGINE...

You are watching a movie with your two year old sister when the doorbell rings. You pick her up, resting her on your hip while you get the door.

"Hey, Haz!" you say.

Harry smiles at you for a moment before gaping at your sister. "Who is this little cutie?" he gushes. She reaches out for Harry, who pulls her into his arms immediately.

"My sister," you reply.

Katie sticks her hands in Harry's curls, giggling at the face he was making at her. "She's adorable!"

You walk back to the couch, lying down. Harry plops down next to you, bouncing Katie in his lap. She squeals as Harry starts to set her down, so Haz puts her in his arms and does the silly baby talk. Your heart swells at the sight.

"She needs to be getting to bed. Want to help me out?" you ask.

Harry nods, swinging her gently in the crook of his elbow. Katie gazes up at him with big eyes. Even though you had just sat down you get up again, showing Harry to Katie's room. You grab her little Teddy bear and wave it in her face. She clutches it to her chest, burying her head in it. Harry smiles at her and takes a seat in the chair next to her crib.

He says something softly, so quiet you can't hear. "Do you ever wonder if the stars shine out for you? Float down, like autumn leaves. And hush now." Autumn Leaves, your favorite Ed Sheeran song. "Close your eyes before the sleep. And your miles away, and yesterday you were here with me, oooooh," he sang softly.

From your spot leaning on the door frame, you see Katie's eyes shut, her breathing calm and sleepy. Harry carefully sets her in the crib, pulling the blanket over her little body.

Once you are out of ear shot, you wrap your arms around him.

"You need to come around more often, Harry," you mutter in between a yawn.

Harry chuckles. "I know, I know." you yawn again, rubbing your eyes. Harry ruffles your hair. "Looks like it's somebody else's bed time as well," he stated.

You shake your head. "I'm okay," you say. Harry takes your hand, towing you to the couch. He sits first, leaning against the back of the couch and the arm rest, he then pulls you down so you are leaning against him, his warm chest against your back. You sigh, letting your eyes close.

Harry puts his lips by your ear. "What lullaby should I sing to you?"

You laugh lightly. "I'm not a child. You don't have to sing me to sleep." He kisses your cheek once, setting a blanket around you.

"Your hearts against my chest, your lips pressed to my neck. I've fallen for your eyes, but they don't know me yet," Harry sings in your ear. You moan, knowing you couldn't resist the depths of sleep if he kept singing. "And with this feeling I'll forget, I'm in love now. Kiss me like you wanna be loved, wanna be loved, wanna be loved..." Harry kept singing but you were falling asleep far too quickly to hear the rest the song.
