Andrew's POV

It's been a month since Leila died. I couldn't handle it when the pack doctor told me.

After Josh came in to the house he carried her immediately to the pack's hospital. Leila had told me that if we mate she'll die and I knew she would come back but I didn't expect her to be dead this long and to feel this way.

It feels like they took a part of my heart, part of my world.

I had Leila on the pack's hospital for a week and then send her to my pack. I know I should have left her in her pack but her brother was in my pack and so was Jared, who hasn't woken up either. Its been almost a month since Jared died and he hasn't come back. How long will it take Leila to wake up?

I looked around my room. My room had girl stuff around, Leila's stuff. I went to her side of her bed where she had her bear that her parents gave her when she was 10 and hold the bear to my chest and cried. Xavier took it just like me, when I told him that she died he wanted to kill me first for mating with her and then destroyed all my living room.

The soldiers had been training my pack and have been really rough with them. Like they would make them run three times of what they do and multiply every work out by 5, Dante even send Zack, my beta, to the pack doctor for almost killing him.

I sat in my bed crying my eyes out while holding Leila's bear to my chest, it still smelled like her.

5 months later

I punched him straight in the jaw.

"What do you know about this!!" I yelled at Marcus while I held him by the neck pushed up to the tree.

"Nothing! She's my mate that's all. I never had the chance to get to know her since you always took her from me!" Jared and Leila have been dead for 6 fucking months! I couldn't do it anymore by just seeing Marcus around like nothing, he's not her mate because he hasn't shed a tear and I haven't even eaten or slept because I've been crying and punching whatever is in front of me. Yeah call me a cry baby but is the love of my life that has been dead for months.

"Andrew stop! Do you want to kill him?"

"Yes!"

"Well to bad, you won't because the mermaids need him in the cell. Aurora can read minds and see some of their past," I let go of Marcus and threw him to Toby.

"There happy?" I scowled at him and stomped to my office.

Once I got inside I saw the holes that were in my wall. Yes I have been punching the walls and I don't care because you should see the rest of my house.

I sat on my chair that was by the desk and put my head in my hands and felt tears roll down my cheeks after seeing the picture I had in my desk of her smiling. It was a picture that Xavier gave me, he said it was the only picture that she was smiling in so he gave it to me  to 'make me better' yeah right, it made me feel worse.

I don't know what I would do if she never comes back.

I heard a knock on the door and told them to come in. I looked up and saw Dante standing in the door looking a little pale but so was I so I didn't ask.

"Yeah?"

"Jared woke up. He's not in a good state," on that I got up and ran to the place where they had Jared and Leila locked up.

Once I got there I saw Jared sitting up and looking around. He looked different. He didn't look like the nice Jared, he looked almost dead or vampire that hasn't eaten in a long time.

"Hey Jared, how you feeling?" I asked carefully and took small steps so I could stand in front of the bed he was in. Jared looked up at me and just stared at me confused.

"Ti?" I looked to Dante who was next to me.

"What did he say?" I was really confuse. What language was that?

"He woke up not knowing English or understanding english. Since I know greek, thanks to Leila, he said 'what?'" Dante flinched when he said Leila's name but continued talking to me. "He says he doesn't remember anything but just two names, Mia and Leila, but doesn't know who they are," what the hell is going on here?

"Can you ask him if he remembers the name of his mate?" I looked at Dante.

"Xérete tous fílous sas ónoma?"(do you know your mates name?)

"Ti eínai énas sýntrofos ?"(what's a mate?) Dante looked at me with a worried look and then turned back to Josh.

"Xéreis to ónomá sas ?"(do you know your name?) Dante asked Jared looking a little worried.

"um eínai Tzárent?"(um is it Jared?) I turned my head to Dante and looked at him confused. "What are you 2 talking about?"

"I asked him if he remembers his mate's name but he doesn't even know what a mate is. He knows his name but I think thats all," he looked at me worried and scared. I know he was thinking the same thing as me, will Leila remember us or will she forget everything?

"Ask him what year it is," I crossed my arms in my chest and looked at Dante. "Why?" he looked confused as hell.

"Just ask." Dante turned to Jared and started speaking greek.

"Poia chroniá eínai?"(what year is it?)

"dekaoktó̱ saránta pénte ?"(eighteen forty-five?)1845 Dante looked at me and then back to Josh.

Dante's POV

"apo pou érchesai?̱"(where do you come from?)

"Athí̱na, Elláda"(Athens, Greece) Greece? Really? I turned to Andrew who was still looking at me confused.

"Where is Jared from?" I furrowed my eyebrows while I looked at him. "Do you want me to talk about that?" Is he kidding right now?!

"Just tell me where is he from!" I growled at him. This is serious, if my mate was in Leila's position I would have killed half of the pack, he's so calm I just want to kill him.

"Calm down! He was born in Vancouver, Canada but his parents are Swedish, they were both born in Sweden and his grandparents are from Ukraine and The Netherlands. Why? What did he say?" How does he know all this? I guess is an alpha thing to know the history of his pack members.

"He said he comes from Athens, Greece and said that this is 1845. Can I talk with his parents or grandparents?" I would want to know history about this.

"His parents are out of town visiting their previous pack because their son is the alpha of the pack in Sweden but his grandparents are here. I'll call them to my office so you can talk to them. Paternal or maternal?"

"Both. I want to know the history of both sides."

"Okay, got it. Zack is taking them to my office so you can go right now and I'll lock up here." Andrew looked at me and then looked back at Jared who looked like a hungry vampire with the dark circles under his eyes.

I looked at Jared, "Tha eímai píso̱ se lígo . Boreíte na páte gia ýpno , tha prépei na échete gia na xekourastoún" (I'll be back in a little bit. You can go to sleep, you need to rest) and with that I walked out and headed to the direction of Andrew's office.
