I sat down with Bryan and Courtney with my lunch tray.

“Hey guys,” I smiled.

“What’s up?” Bryan asked.

“Superman,” I said as Crystal and Tiffany sat down.

“Hey,” they said.

“Clarissa, just the girl I was looking for,”

“Good bye David,” I said rolling my eyes.

“I just wanted to say I had fun last night,” he said winking implying something else happened.

I eat my fries and rolled my eyes. “Same here now stop talking about it,”

“We should do it again? This weekend maybe?”

“No, now leave,”

David opened his mouth to say something but Jerry cut him off. “Good bye,” he said pushing him out the way.

David stumbled and walked away.

“I owe you one,” I muttered.

“Good, tonight, my bed, seven?”

“No,” I said making a face.

“Come on! What do I have to do? Show you how big my penis is? I’ll do it,”

“No, I don’t like you. Get over it,”

“Then who do you like?”

“No one. Just focusing on school,”

“Lesbian,” he coughed.

“Think what you want,” I said getting up to get some more ketchup.

“Baby, do you need glasses? I’m hot,”

“I don’t care,”

“But you think I’m hot,”

“Who doesn’t,” I admitted.

“So, my place?”

“No!”

“Why?” he asked.

“Because, I don’t like arrogant jerks like you,”

“Really?”

“Yes,”

“What if I wasn’t arrogant?” he asked closing in on me.

“Won’t change a thing,” I smirked.

“Really?” he smirked. “Not a thing?”

“Nope,” I said looking him in the eye.

He covered it with guy liner and his long hair fell over his light blue eyes…

Snap out of it!

Jerry looked at my lips and my heart skipped a beat.

“Get off of me,” I stuttered.

He smirked. “No,”

“Is everything okay over here?”

Chauncey, my savior.

“No,” Jerry said facing him.

“Really?” Chauncey said crossing his arms over his chest.

“Yeah,” Jerry said back.

“I’m fine now,” I said. “Thanks,” I whispered to Chauncey.

He smiled and walked me back to my table.

“What did he want?” he asked.

“My vagina,” I muttered and sat down.

“Explain,” Crystal demanded.

I told them about the double date and Jerry being in my math class and his sudden interest in getting in my pants.

As I finished my lunch I realized that I never got my ketchup.

When school was over I walked to my locker with Tiffany.

“So, does Chauncey love you yet?” she asked.

“Nope,” I said. “I’m in the friend zone forever,”

“Show him you can be a little more than that,”

“How?”

“Be seductive, flirty and sexy,”

“I don’t know how to do that,”

“I can teach you,” Jerry said.

“Good bye,” Tiffany said.

“Can we talk?” he asked me.

“No,” Tiffany and I said together.

Chauncey walked over to his locker with Rose.

“What are you doing here?” he asked Jerry.

“I came to tell you at I know someone who has a crush on you,”

My eyes went wide.

“Just kidding, he wanted to tell me something. Let’s go,” I said taking Jerry’s hand.

He laughed as I pulled him away.

“So I was right?”

“How did you know?”

“Lunch and Tiffany needs to whisper,”

“Shit… what do you want?”

“You,”

I rolled my eyes. “This isn’t fair,”

“I know, but this is. We date. You get your man and I get to be the ultimate player,”

“You’re gross. How will I get Chauncey out of this?”

“I don’t know. I saw it in a movie,”

“I don’t think so, how about a double date,”

“With?”

“Chauncey and Rose,”

“Why?”

“Because you get your date and your claim and I show Chauncey that I’m flirty and all that,”

“We should practice though,”

“Practice what?”

“Making out,”

“Good bye,”

“Call me!” he called after me laughing.

I headed back to my locker where Rose and Chauncey were.

“Ready pretty lady?” he asked me.

“Almost handsome guy,” I said walking over to Tiffany.

“I have news,”

“Fill me in,”

I told her everything and she thought it was a good idea.

She said that we would have to have a lesion on being sexy later.

I laughed and promised to text her later.

I walked over to Chauncey and found him kissing Rose.

“I’m ready,” I said walking passed them.

I headed to the car and he was behind me moments later.

“Let’s go,” he said smiling at me.
