*A/N: Ok so here's the first chapter! I'm pretty sure the whole story is going to be in Molly's point of view but don't quote me on it. You'll get to know the characters as the story progresses. Please read the summary if you haven't already because it's a little bit about this story I'll be writing! Also note that this part is just a flashback so don't be confused in the tenses change in the next chapters ahead. Please vote, comment, and tell me your suggestions! Like I said before, I'm not the best writer but I'll try my best. Alright so here we go... here's the first chapter of "Gentle!"*

I remember the first time I met them. It was a beautiful day in LA with a slight breeze but nothing major. The sun was out on this perfect day dated May 5, 2013.

Somehow I managed to convince my careful and strict parents to let me audition to be R5's opening act. I think once Taylor, my best friend, and her parents were on board and were willing to let their daughter tag along, my parents were able to let me go as well. See Taylor doesn't really love R5 to the extent I do, but it's enough to let me pursue my dreams of becoming a singer. She's the most perfect best friend in the world and is so much more nicer, let alone patient than I am; so her doing this deed for me was beyond over-the-top even for her standards.

I staggered into the room, knowing Taylor was just outside the door in the waiting room, siking out the other performers, which we are both pretty amazing at it if I must say so myself.

They all sat together on one pretty huge couch, Mr. and Mrs. Lynch holded iPads in their hands while Riker, the oldest one held onto a notebook opened to what seemed to be the second page and a pencil. Each of them had a smile plastered on their face.

"Hi there! What's your name," Mark asked, smiling at me.

"Hey! I'm Molly Murphy and I'll be singing and playing on my guitar Bruno Mars' song 'Count On Me,'" I replied, attempted to make the big stage presence I know I have considering my strong and loud personality.

"Uhh darling, we only accept original songs. Do you have any you could play for us," Stormie asked, quietly but justifying-ly.

"Of course," I said, adjusted my guitar cords quickly while I cleared my throat. "This is called 'Beautiful' and I wrote it in 2010." Riker wrote what I'm assumed my name was and the title of the song as well.

During the whole performance, I walked around but I know one pair of eyes followed my each movement. Ryland's. With each step I took, he was staring at me. With intensity and desire. He ha a little signature smirk glued to his face. Our eyes locked multiple times and I could see his pupil grow larger when our eyes met. I wasn't interested, but he certainly seemed to be.

After I sing my original song, they all applauded and everyone asked me a couple of questions like how old I was; where I was from, which they were quite surprised about; and if I had ever performed in front of a live audience.

"No," I responded to the last question. "I do have a Youtube channel where I sing there and act crazy while being myself."

They chuckled but Ryland asked suddenly, "What's your Youtube?"

   I smiled a little, "Born_in_a_barn_10."

Everyone laughed as Riker wrote that down as well along with my other answers to their what seemed-to-be-personal questions.

Later that night, while Taylor was in the shower and I sat on the balcony to our hotel, overlooking all the traffic in Los Angeles, my cell phone buzzed and rang 3 times before I picked it up.

   "Hello?"

"Honey! We miss you! How did it go," my mom greeted, asking about 5 million and 1 questions.

"Perfect. They seemed to like me because they asked quite a few questions," I chuckled lightly to myself.

"That's great! Everything is fine up here. How's Taylor?"

"She's awesome. Afterwards, she was flirting a bit with Rocky. I saw her."

"You 16 year old girls! Well I have to go cook dinner for your father. He says hi. Love you Molly."

   "Love you too Mom."

"Goodnight," we both said at the same time and hung up.

I got another call about 5 minutes after I ended with my mom.

   "Hello? Is this Molly Murphy?"

"Hi. Yes, this is her. Who is this and what do ya need?"

"This is Stormie Lynch. You are going to be one of our open acts for R5's Loud Tour this summer."
