Anything Could Happen

Hey Hey everyone sorry it took so long to write but hey im in the groove to doing some writing so yeah ^.^

Our little army set out, moving at a brisk pace. We figured that it would take an hour, and still be enough sunlight left for the fight. No strigoi would be able to get out undectected. No one felt like talking, once in a while id glance over at Kellin. I felt like there was an invisible bond between us. Our group split when we reached the closest entrance to the cave. Kellin and Vic were going in here. As i gave them one last glance all i could feel was worry. Worry id never see them again. As we walked the half-mile around the mountain's base. I let those emotions go, i was in battle mode now. When we were almost to our entrance. At the caves entrance, our group split up.

Xander and Sara were leading the group in.The moment came and the adults disappeared into the darkness of the cave. The rest were left behind, we were lined up in a ring around the cave.

"This is going to be easy." Murmured Mike.

I truly hope he was right.

We waited that was all we could do. Every second felt like an eternity. Then we heard a sound. Sounds of fighting muffled cries and grunts and a few screams. All of us tensed, bodies so rigid we nearly snapped. Gabe the professor was the leader on thishe stood closer to the caves entrance. A stake in his hand and sweat formingon his forehead. Waiting for a striogi to jump out of the cave.

A few minutes later, we heard the sound of footsteps running towards us. Our stakes were ready. Gabe and another teacher got closer to the entrance. They were ready to attack. But it wasnt a striogi that came out it was Dega, Dega Darling, she was scraped up and dirty but she was alive and im happy, her face was full of dried up tears. She  realized who we were abd ran into Jaime's arms. He looked surprised he never thought he would ever see her again. He hugged her tightly and kissed the top of her head.

Gently Jaime unwrapped Dega's arms and lead her to a nearby tree. Then her returned to his postion. I wanted to comfort her but i have to stay focused on the cave and whats inside.A minute later someone else came out a teacher, he looked worn and had two puncutre wounds on his neck. The striogi had used him for feeding but hadnt killled him yet.

" Whats going on in there?" Gabe asked

"Its a mess,but were are getting out in both directions." the teacher said.

Two mori's and a dhampire came out next. Each time someone came out i prayed it would be sally. And so did tony. Several minutes passed though no one came, my grip on the stake had started to hurt which caused me to switch hands time and time again causing my fingers to lock up. All i could think about was what was going on in there, Is kellin and vic ok and is sally even alive? All i can do was hope for the best.

Short chapter i know but i didnt have enough time to type more cause the computer kept messing up. i will update soon :3 so look forward to that .
