Zayn's P.O.V:

We were walking down the hallway of the hotel, it was comfortable silence between us, her small hands in mine as she hummed to a song that was very familiar but I had no idea what it was called

"what song is that?" I broke the silence and she stopped humming to look at me "what song?" she asked

"the one you were humming" I said as we stopped in front of the elevator, I pressed the up button and turned to look at her

"must be dreaming" she said as she pulled her hand away from mine to rake it through her hair

"by?" I asked as I looked at her, she was really something

"the Maine" she sighed

"fan huh?" I smirked as I took her hand again and skimmed the pad of my thumb across her knuckles

"yeah" she grinned staring down at our hands and I swear she turned a bit pink

"aw you're blushing" I teased as we stepped into the lift "I don't blush" she teased back

"you're cute" I chuckled

"so where are we going?" she changed the topic ignoring my compliment but what I can't ignore was the burn in her cheeks

"up" I stated and she cocked an eye brow "what are you getting at Malik?" she teased and I couldn't help but peck her lips

"and we're here" I mumbled against her lips grinning as the elevator came to a stop and made a 'ding' sound

I took her out and lead her outside the lift, she was taken back by the view and I automatically smirked, I let go of her hands and started gesturing around me

"you see Ms. Shay" I stated

"I have this wonderful view, that I discovered yesterday while I took a drag up here" she bit her lip as she waited for me to continue and I tugged ay her chin to free her lips

wow it's been a while since I've done that

"and while I was puffing out the smoke, I realized that I wanted you with me and since I couldn't just call and ask you to come yesterday" I trailed off and she took a step closer "I took you here today, but this is just part a of part 2" I grinned

she smirked and smiled at the same time, she moved to stand in front of me, I wrapped my arm around her letting my hand rest on the small part of her back, she stood straight and pecked my nose, I froze for a bit because it was a foreign gesture but softened as I felt her cup my face with her small hands her thumb moving against my cheek

"cheesy but thank you" she smiled stepping away "you like it?" I asked

fuck

that sounded like a boy trying to impress his mum after making a shitty birthday card or something

"it's actually really sweet" she sighed looking at the wonderful view right infront of us

there was an infinity pool right beside us, yes this was the roof top of the hotel. The moon was shining bright as it's light lit up the ocean water the lanterns that were scattered around the potted plants and that were on top of tables made everything seem much more magical? I guess but it was a beautiful sight.

"it's beautiful" Lexie sighed, her hands were crossed against her chest and she just stood there admiring the view

I felt myself smile as I walked up to her and wrapped my arms around her, hugging her from behind

I neared my lips to her ear "doesn't compare to you though" and rested my chin on her shoulder
