I sit alone, unfazed but confused
I pull the blankets up closer to my neck as I refrain from sleeping
Because the thought of your body pressed up against mine
Keeps me wide awake
I'd kill to taste your caramel skin
To kiss it like it was my last night
And to claim your body as my territory
My heavenly property
That if I were to mark it,
All the heavens would sing
Trapped behind a lonely girl
Is a heart filled with love and lust
And I secretly cannot contain it
But they'll never ever know
You'll never know
