An aching in the heart
Tears apart the soul
Broken into a thousand pieces
Your body swallowed up into an
Endless abyssLove, it plays an endless record
invented to tear apart the heart
I tried loving you, but you didn't try
It was a tragic love story right from the startOne day it was bliss
Obliterating the awkwardness
I told you me, you told me you
Bestowing your truth
With an empty kissI could always go on
About the fire you set in me
And when you were ignorant,
I wish you could've seen meYou laughed as you always did,
Surely winning the shreds of my everglowing heart
But like I said, you took it and dropped it
Then running it over
the end of an exploding starAs I sit here in shaking hands,
Next to you, without you knowing
The poem I'm writing
Is surely about you
