Chapter 4

Finally, the two siblings came upon each other outside of an open room, pieces of a huge lock were all over the floor. Giving each other a glance, both of them went inside the room. It was a dark and dusty room. Cobwebs dangling from the dark corners, covered boxes and funiture placed everywhere, and a large full body window on the left side of the room. It was the attic. As the duo walked around, Yui noticed different types of jewelry lining the top of a dresser. Takashi found action figures and decorations in a display case on the walls of the attic. And they both, may find different things...

Yui: Yui walked past the window. The light of the cresent moon shone into the room as a figure stood outside. It was a slim female, she was facing the moon. Her long purple hair enhances the darkness in the night as it draped across her shoulders and brushes the floor. Her skin as pale as a ghost yet looks as smooth as a baby's. She slowly turned around, a shadow covering her eyes. Thu-Thump. Yui's heart leaped. She gasped in pain, backing away and placing her hands on her chest. "I-it hurts!" Thu-Thump. She backed away into a bookshelf, accidentally bumping into it while collapsing on the floor. A few books fell onto the floor. As she looked back at the window, the woman was gone. After calming herself down, she noticed a picture that slipped out of one of the books.

Takashi: A glint of light reached Takashi's eyes as he passed by a couple boxes at a corner of the room. Curiosity killed the Cat, as they say, Takashi pushed away the boxes. Behind the boxes, a golden pocket watch sparkled. Takashi picked it up. Upon closer inspection, he noticed silver line patterns painted on the edges of the treasure. A flash of vision crossed his mind like the speed of light, as soon as it came, as fast as it went. Takashi blinked, then shook his head to clear off the confusion. In that instance, he found a scratch that crosses over the glass of the watch. Is this some kind of marking? But...It looks familiar. I've seen this before...but where? Takashi wondered as he continued playing with the watch.

Thump! A sudden sound reached Takashi's ear. He whirled around and saw Yui, who was flipping through a book. Panicking, he went to Yui's side to check on Yui. "Nee-chan! Daijōbuka?" Takashi asked in concern. However, Yui did not reply and continued staring at photo and a black colour book.

"Yui gives me happiness," she read out.

"The fact that she is not actually my child means nothing now.

I am only grateful for this great blessing every day I live."

"W-what does this mean?" Yui asked with quivered breath. "Am I not Otou-san's daughter? What is Otou-san's diary doing here?"

"Give me that." Takashi snatched the book from Yui's grasp and flipped a few pages.

"It was amazing how I had gotten two daughters in such a short period of time.

I especially want to thank Takashi as she helped in many ways.

Although, we are not related,

I still treasure her with all my heart.

Arigatou gozaimasu, Kami-sama, for giving me such a wonderful child.

I will never forget this happiness I receive."

A tear dropped onto the floor. "Oyaji..."

"Of all the rooms, you had to pick this one to enter," Reiji's voice interrupted the moment, causing both siblings to turn their head. All 6 of the brothers were either standing or leaning on something around the room. How did they-

"This is a room that we have sealed off so no one may enter. I will have to fit it with a new lock," Reiji continued.

"That's for sure. How did you get in here, Bitch-chan?" Laito, who was kneeling in front of them, asked. Takashi stood up and hid Yui behind him.

"That's none of your business . And if u really wat to know, The lock broke before we came." he said with confidence, regaining his facade.

"Please stay put. You're my prey," Kanato stated.

"W-we're..."

"We're nobody's prey!" Takashi shouted out, glaring at all the brothers.

"Enough Excuses!" Subaru growled, punching the bookshelf and causing more books to fall beside them. Yui shrieked out of fear. Takashi looked at Yui and turned to have a staredown with Subaru.

"Don't you dare hurt her."

"Oh you. Not again, Subaru-kun," Laito sighed.

"Urusei."

"That's the look..." Ayato's voice sounded from behind Takashi. Takashi turned to find Ayato holding Yui by her chin. "...that get my juices flowing."

"Oi! What are y-" Takashi was pushed to the wall and cornered by Shu.

"Hn. The usual lazy deadbeat is up and have the energy to turn gay." Reiji commented, pushing up his glasses.

"Perhaps I'll take part as well." Things starts to get intense.

"I want a taste too." Laito and Kanato started closing in on Yui.

"There is only one fact that you must fully comprehend. The fact that you can never escape from us." Reiji stated flatly.

"H- Mph!" As Takashi was trying to speak, Shu covered his mouth, preventing him from speaking.

"Oh, get straight to the point." Subaru said impatiently. "Just tell them if she tries to escape, she's dead."

"S-stop!" Yui begged as Laito and Ayato licked her neck. "Yamete!"

Pshing! The sound of glass breaking silenced the whole atmosphere. Takashi stood beside the fallen and broken painting with an insane smile as a dark purple aura surrounded him. "Hehehe~ You had just hurt my doll." He moves his head to tilt the other direction. "So now..." The smile disappeared and was replaced by a raging look. "You're all gonna DiE!!!" After he took one step, he was knocked unconscious and fall toward the floor. Behind him stood Shu with a fist high up. He lowered his fist and sighed. "So troublesome." Yui stared at her fallen 'brother' in sadness.

"Hey, Chinchinashi." Yui turned to Ayato. Ayato placed his palm over her eyes as she lose conscious and fell asleep.

"Aw. I really liked playing with Bitch-chan." Laito whined, standing up. Ayato carried Yui and looked at Reiji.

"I'm going to take her to her room." He starts walking out of the room.

"I'll take care of him." Shu stated and teleported away with Takashi on his back.

"It was fun while it lasted." Laito commented, teleporting away.

"I guess I'll have to wait next time to have a taste..."Kanato blankly said, disappearing.

"Hn. I could've had my sleep if it weren't for those humans." Subaru was no longer there. Reiji sighed.

"Oh well. With a new bride and boy in our mansion, I wonder what's going to happen now?"

However, the thing that has been going pass the brothers' minds have been occupying them.

"What was that. Why was his presence so...familiar?"
