"Will you marry me?"
That question, was the start of a hopefully beautiful life that Michael and Carson will live together.
It was three days before Christmas, and I was walking around the mall with Christian, looking for a store that was selling 'ugly christmas sweaters', so we could buy some for our families.
"This one should work." He said, holding up a green one with Rudolph on the front, his nose stuck out and when you squeezed it, Jingle Bells started playing.
I scrunched up my nose at it.
"It's terrible. Get it."
I sat down on one of the benches as Christian searched the rest of the store for more sweaters.
Christmas music was playing over the intercom, and seeing all the festive colors and the smell of my surroundings really put me in the holiday mood.

On our way home, Viva La Vida played softly from the car speakers, and I watched as cars passed us up.
Christian release his right hand from the steering wheel and moved it to rest on my thigh, and I placed my hand over his.
I looked over at him, and laughed.
"What?"
"You're so pretty, when you drive, when you drive-"
"Are you quoting One Direction?"
"Why yes, yes I am."
"I hate you." He said, rolling his eyes.
"You know you love me."
I thought about the very first time that Christian told me that he loved me.
"I've been doing a lot of thinking, and you don't have to say anything back, I'm just a hundred percent positive that I'm in love with you."
It surprised me, so much that I dropped my slushie I had just bought all over his brand new shoes.
He said he hated me right after.

When we got home, Christian was more than excited to show everyone the Christmas sweaters we had bought.
He even went so far as to buy the dogs sweaters.
"This is gonna be one hell of a Christmas."
