When we arrived home, it was 10 am and I was unbelievably tired. Michael made Carson stopped by McDonald's to get everyone breakfast and hopefully rid some of us of our hangovers. But to no avail, Jack Dail was still whining.

We all entered the house, and my sister Andy was already up cuddling with Meeko and Athena and watching SpongeBob on the couch. Jack waddled over and took a seat beside her.

"Hey, are mom and dad awake?" I whispered. She shook her head, and I nodded mine, proceeding to grab Christian's hand and pull him to my room. I need a nap.

"So are you and Christian married yet?"  Michael asked as he sat in my desk chair, spinning around in circles. It was around noon now and after everyone had left, we waited for lunch to be made.

"No, what kind of question is that?" I laughed awkwardly, scrolling through my Pinterest to find the best picture of the tattoo I wanted. Although come to think of it, it shouldn't be that hard to describe.

"Well Carson told me you two fucked in the hotel last night." he said bluntly, and my eyes widened.

"Um, can you please not use that word?" I asked.

"Oh! Sorry, do you prefer the term 'made love' because if so I'd be more than obliged to use it." he said sarcastically, and I scoffed, rolling my eyes.

I went back to looking at different tattoos, and Michael insisted on drumming on my desk very obnoxiously.

I closed my phone and fell back on my bed, staring up at the ceiling. I felt my phone buzz with a few messages but I ignored it.

"I'm gonna ask Carson to marry me." He interrupted the silence.

"Oh my god are you serious?!" I yelled, sitting up straight as the topic peaked my interest.

"Yeah, I've been thinking about it. We've been dating since sophomore year so what...four years? I think it's a little overdue if you ask me."

"Well how long have you known you wanted to?" I asked. He shrugged.

"I think I just always knew. When we were sitting in the principal's office I kinda just looked at her and thought: I'm gonna marry you." he explained. I sighed at how cute their relationship is.

"Well when are you gonna do it?" I asked.

"Tomorrow. Cheesy, I know. But I want her to move back to New York with me. Get an apartment together and all that shit."

I nodded, and he smiled at me.

Then we were called down for lunch.
