Life or Death (Zack)

"Okay Merrick, you either jump on this pillow," you point to the pillow laying in the floor. "Or, you jump into this cook book." You point at the book the was in the kitchen floor.

"This is a life or death situation..." Zack begins, examining the two options.

"I know, don't get burned by the lava remember!" You remind him, pointing to the floor.

"I know!" He groans.

"Then which is it?" You ask.

"...the book is closer, so I'll do that one." He says.

As he jumps from the couch, his one foot touches the book, sending it across the floor before his other foot reached it. He fell back into his bum, earning a little groan if pain.

"Zack! Nooooooo!" You exclaim.

"Ahhhhhhh!" He yells, pretending to burn.

"Uh, what's going on?" Rian asks, placing the bags of groceries on the kitchen worktop.

"Zack just fell into the lava! He's burning! Zack! Ruuuuunnnn!" You dramatically shout.

"Dude! Run! You'll burn!" Zack yells, scrambling back to the couch he was previously stuck on.

"At least you're not doing the dirty." Rian sighs, exiting the room.
