"I'm home!" I annonced as I stepped inside the house, tired, sleepy and starving, yet happy that Friday is in two days and I'll finally be able to chill out.
I heard voices laughing in the living room, which was kind of weird, because only one of my parents are home around this time.
Haven't seen dad's car in front of the house, so it's probably mom and one of her friends.
"Oh hey honey!" mom smiled at me as I entered the living room.
A beautiful woman turned around to look at me, as the brightest smile spread on her face.
"Rainbow Dash is that you darling?! Oh, I'd never recognize you if Windy didn't tell me! Look how much you've grown!"
She stood up as I approached her and she pulled me into a hug, a tight hug. Her smile seemed familiar, like I've seen it somewhere before, I just couldn't figure out where.
"It's nice to see you uhh..." I looked at mom, smiling awkwardly.
"Don't you remember?!" mom was surprised.
"I uhh..."
"It's been a long time, I doubt she'd remember me. I'm Star Skies!"
"Skies? As..."
"Soarin's mom!" she smiled softly and then it hit me.
The smile, hair color, eyes. Soarin was like a copy of his mother, except that he's a guy.
"Oh yeahh... I remember now, just...not that clear..."
"The last time you saw me, you were only 8 or 9. It's not a big deal darling. But I must admit, you've grown into a beautiful girl!"
"Thank you Miss Skies..." I smiled, blushing a bit.
"How was school honey?" mom asked.
"It was alright... I'm tired though..."
"Go clean up and come down to eat! Lunch is in the oven."
"Okay!" I nodded and went upstairs, leaving them to chat.
On my way upstairs, I heard them saying my name, probably gossiping about me. I'm usually not that interested in conversations my parents have with their friends, but I was interested now.
It all made sense, the moment she said she's Soarin's mom. She was way too familiar, I just couldn't figure out how I know her. Who would thought that I'll meet Soarin's mother in my living room?!
I can't really remember her clearly, but I remember a few situations when I was little. She was beautiful then and now also.
Soarin never mentioned her name or any of his family members. He just said his family a few times, but nothing deep. Maybe I don't know him that good as I thought? But he also doesn't know the names of my parents so...

Friday night... Instead of being home in my navy blue pj's with a sea turtle on it, I'm standing in front of Thunderlane's house, waiting for him to open the door.
Good thing he's deaf, so he hears me loud and clear! I'm being sarcastic, didn't mean to offend anyone.
"HEEEEYYYYY DASH! Come on, get in! You'll freeze out there!"
"No way Shit Sherlock! I wouldn't freeze if you're able to hear your freaking door bell." I rolled my eyes as I stepped inside the warm hallway.
"Music is too loud."
"Yeah, music in your headphones. You know, you should consider visiting a doctor!"
"Thanks for the advice! You should consider seeing psychologist, because you only use sarcasm to communicate!"
