I didn't have time to do my homework before my training, so I decided to do it after. As if I was gonna do it before practice anyway...
When I arrived at school and got into locker room, some of my teammates were already there.
"Dash! You arrived on time!" Fleetfoot seemed surprised.
"Yup... I'm only late early in the morning." I joked.
"Have you seen High Winds?" Misty Fly asked me.
"Umm...no. No I haven't. Is she not coming?"
"I guess we know who's gonna be late then..."
"Not me!" Surprise marched in like a tornado, breathing fast.
"What's up with you?" Misty choked while taking a sip of water when she saw Surprise.
"I fell asleep and SOMEONE, decided to turn my alarm off." Surprise turned to glare at High Winds who just walked in.
Fleetfoot and Misty burst out laughing because of Surprise's hair, which was all messy.
"That's because you put flour in my hair dryer the other day." she replied satisfied.
"It was a prank!"
"This was a prank too!"
"Okay, calm down girls, you know that Spitfire won't tolerate any type of drama or arguments!" Blaze reminded them.
"Yeah, we know..."
"The pull yourself together and get ready. We're gonna be outside."
Blaze and Misty left the locker room and went outside to the soccer field.
I quickly changed my T-shirt and shorts and grabbed my water bottle.
"Rainbow wait!" Feeltfoot stopped me before I could leave.
"Can you wait for me until I fill up my water bottle? It'll take two minutes."
"Yeah, I'll wait for you here." I smiled.
"Thanks! I'll be right back." she ran out to the bathroom to do her thing.
I sat down on the bench, looking at my phone before I have to leave it in my locker. Coach is very strict about our phones during training. We must leave them in our lockers so they don't distract us. Smart decision honestly.
I was more focused on my phone than what was going on around me, but I couldn't help but hear an interesting conversation between High and Surprise.
"I'm so excited to have a training with guys!" High said excitedly.
"Guys or just him?!" Surprise giggled.
"Hey! You're the only one that knows about it! So shh!"
"I won't tell a soul! Sooo... You're excited because..."
"Ugh, yes, because I'm gonna practice with him."
"You know, you guys are a great team. I think you totally go with each other."
"You really think that?"
"Uhh DUH! Wind Waker is such a cutie for you."
"DON'T SAY HIS NAME OUT LOUD!" she whispered-shouted at Surprise.
"Sorry...hehe..." she giggled mockingly.
Before I could hear more gossip, Fleetfoot came back and I quickly put my phone away so we can go outside.
"You heard the drama?" she quickly turned around to make sure that no one was behind us.
"What drama?"
