Soarin was standing next to me, clearly asking me that question.

"I..."

"Come on, you can't walk home when it's literally raining cats and dogs." he didn't even let me answer his questions, he just started running towards his car.

As much as I don't want him to give me a ride home, I also can't walk home like this. I'll be all wet if I take a walk home. So I ran after him towards his car.

We quickly got in, already wet because of the rain.

I'm not a big car expert, but I knew what car he was driving. My dad thought me some things, since he's obsessed with BMWs.

Soarin was driving a dark blue BMW M3 f80. I must say, it was beautiful from the outside and the inside. It smelled so fresh, although I couldn't tell what scent that was.

"That was close." he sighed.

"Close?! In case you didn't notice, we're already all wet."

"Yeah, but you're not made of sugar. Unless you are..."

I glared at him, not sure how to reply. Then he started laughing.

"I'm just joking Dash. Someone's nervous today huh?" he asked, starting his car.

"Kind of..." I buckled up my seat belt, staring into the distance.

"May I ask why?"

"Nothing important...just...never mind."

"I won't tell anyone if it's a secret. We may not know each other that well, but you can trust me."

"Can I?" I raised my eyebrow and glanced at him.

"Well it depends on your choice." he shrugged his shoulders, a corner of his lips curving into a little smile.

"I'm just tired...and starving."

"A valid reason to be nervous."

"Are you being sarcastic or..."

"I'm being for real. I don't think there's a person who's not nervous when they're hungry."

"You have a point."

"At least you didn't black out during today's training."

"Okay, now you're making fun of me." I rolled my eyes playfully.

"Yeah maybe... Joke aside, hope you were okay for the rest of that day."

"I was... I had a sleepover at my friend's place that night."

"Then you had fun for sure."

"Yeah, I did until they all fell asleep. How can you go to bed before 12 A.M.?!" I complained.

"They were probably tired."

"What should I say then?!"

"I'd say that you sound like a night owl."

"Maybe because I am. I mean come on, who can go to sleep at 10 P.M.?!"

"Someone can... I mean, some people work a lot and the only thing they wanna do when they come home is sleep. So I get them too.

"Yeah, but like... 12 A.M. is something else, but even that is too early for me. I mean, I can go to sleep earlier, when I'm indeed exhausted. But I'm mostly awake even after midnight."

"What are you doing that late?" he laughed.

"Chilling... Thinking... Think about it. It's so peaceful that late. No one is around to bother you, no one is calling you, you're alone with your thoughts. You can do whatever you want."
