I'm trying...That's all I've been doing lately...

I stood in front of Miss Polygon, waiting for her to tell me what something important.

Well maybe I passed...or at least that's what I've been trying to make myself believe.

"I don't think I have to explain your grade any further." she handed me my exam.

My jaw dropped as soon as I saw a big, fat F in the corner.

"F+?!"

What is that plus even changing?! It's still an F!

"Rainbow Dash, I don't know what's going on with you, but you must focus. You failed the second exam and you remember what we talked about."

"Yes... I tried Miss Polygon, I really did, it's just..."

"It's just that you need remedial classes. And I knew it, but I wanted to help you, because of your trainings. And here we are again! Well this time, I won't take any excuse!"

"But Miss Polygon..."

"No but Rainbow Dash! I said what I said! You need to study more and this is your only option."

"I really studied Miss Polygon, Math is just...not really my thing..."

"That's not an excuse. I'll let you know about the classes, until then prepare what you don't understand so you can ask during remedial classes."

"Okay..." I sighed, giving her my paper back and heading out of the classroom.

Well I'm in deep shit... OBVIOUSLY! Am I really that stupid or what?!

Clearly Dash, clearly you're just stupid... Keep telling yourself how you know everything and then fail Math... TWICE!

And even worse is that I have to spend four more hours here. I'd rather go home and curl up in my bed, than be here. But I have training after my classes and I can't miss it.

At least until I start going on remedial classes, then I'll have to say goodbye to my team and trainings.

"Okay everybody, we're done for today! Same time tomorrow and after that we'll return to our usual 6 P.M. routine." coach announced while we were stretching.

"Finally... I can't keep up with classes and trainings after them. I need a break!" Misty Fly groaned.

"Same! I need to take a nap for just an hour. Otherwise, I can't function like a normal person." Wave Chill agreed.

"Well if you slept for more than 5 hours, then you'd be rested and you wouldn't need a nap." Blaze replied.

"Indeed! How can I keep up with coaching you when coach is not here, work out outside of school and study and get good grades?!" Spitfire bragged, but she wasn't wrong though.

"Because you're not a human. You're some type of alien or something and you're able to to everything we can't." Thunderlane started laughing, but stopped immediately when he saw her serious expression.

"Do I look like an alien to you?" she crossed her arms.

"No ma'am!" he lowered his head, not daring to look at her.

"Then don't compare me to one!"

"I won't ma'am!"

"One lap around the field!" she ordered as he immediately started running.

The rest of us burst out laughing and she started laughing with us. Spitfire is strict, but isn't a monster. She's also a human being with a sense of humor, feelings and interests.
