Rainbow Dash's POV
I ran as fast as I could, passing people like I'm racing a Formula 1 driver. All I could hear was the loud school bell ringing sound, mumbling or complaining as I ran past some students.
I didn't care about them. I needed to know if I got it. I needed to know NOW!
I saw Pinkie looking at the notice board.
"SO, DID I GET IN?!" I asked her out of breath, my heart racing from all that running.
"Get in where?" Pinkie tilted her head, looking at me confused.
"DID I MAKE IT INTO THE TEAM?!"
"Oh... I don't know, I was just looking at the cooking class flyer."
"Ughh... Seems like they didn't decide yet..." I sighed disappointed.
"What was that with all that running Rainbow Dash?" Fluttershy came up to us, holding my pendant.
"Ye, why all that rush?" Applejack added as she, Twilight and Rarity joined.
"I thought that they would announce our new team, but looks like the still didn't form a new team." I informed them.
"Isn't it early for that? I mean, the school started literally two days ago." Twilight raised her eyebrow.
"Yeah, but selections were last week. You should know that!"
"Why so early though?" Sunset asked.
"Because it's been like that since... Forever literally!"
"And because it's easier for coaches to form a team. They let you sign up at the end of the school year, then there are selections a week before the school starts, because that way they can start training earlier. They don't have to waste their time." Twilight started giving more detail.
Egghead...
"I don't understand why are you so worried darling? You're literally in every team every year." Rarity asked calmly.
"Because senior year is different. They chose new faces, new people with new abilities. What if they replace me this year?!"
"No one can replace you Dash, you're one of the best members of the sport teams." Fluttershy hugged me, handing me my pendant.
"Yeah... But still... Hey, where did you find it?" I got distracted by my blue guitar pendant.
"You lost it while running. Good thing I found it before others." she smiled happily.
"Thanks Shy... Oh well... Maybe we should go now, looks like the results won't come out yet." I sighed.
"Everything is gonna be okay Dashie, you don't have to be so worried. Wanna cupcake to cheer you up?"
"Thanks Pinkie, but cupcake won't get my thoughts out of my head."
"You don't know until you try! It always makes me forget about my worries or thoughts." she said, taking a big bite of her pink cupcake.
"Uhh okay... Anyways, I should maybe text Spitfire about it. She probably knows who's on the team."
"Why don't you wait for a little while. I'm sure they'll announce the results soon." Twilight suggested.
"Maybe you're right... I'll wait until tomorrow and if not, I'm gonna talk to Spitfire."
"That's right! Try not to think about it so much sugarcube." Applejack put her arm around my shoulder.
"Fine... I'll try my best, as always..."

It's easier said than done. Results is all I can think about. What if I didn't make it? What if they found someone better to replace me?!
