"morning, josh."
"it's not morning, its noon." josh stares at the boy walking out from his bedroom, smiling sleepily. "you only slept six hours?" josh himself had woken up two hours ago.
tyler shrugs. "don't need much sleep, honestly." he looks at what josh is drinking. "oh, you figured out how the coffee machine works?" wow, that's something even he hasn't managed to do, at least not very well.
"yeah, it's not that hard."
"oh." tyler scratches his head. "you said you live next door?"
josh nods.
"so, are you gonna stay here, or...?" a question lingers on his lips, and josh grimaces.
he doesn't want to stay too long out of fear of being rude, but he's really goddamn scared of the spider that's now hiding somewhere in his apartment. "i guess," he muses, "i guess i'll go. but thanks for letting me barge into your house and take your bed." he smiles painfully at tyler, blushing a bit as the boy beams back.
"no problem! come over any time!" tyler waves goodbye cheerfully as josh nods, walking uncertainly out of the apartment. it's a walk of shame, definitely.
