Scene: Gunjan’s Room
Soft sunlight flooded the room as Gunjan sat by her desk, fingers steadily working on a delicate embroidery design. Her hands moved slowly, stitching the intricate pattern onto a plain white kurta—the one she had picked out long ago, before things crumbled.
> "I stopped when he broke me...
But now that we’re rebuilding... maybe this kurta deserves to be finished too."
She glanced at the clock.
He promised to come in the morning... where is he?

Scene: Verma House – Raj’s Room
Raj sat at the window, chin resting on his palm, eyes locked on her window.
Raj (murmuring):
“Dhruv, I want to do something for her… something that’s mine.”
Dhruv:
“Then bake her something! With help from Aunty.”
They looked at each other for two seconds… and then:
Together:
“BRILLIANT!”
They jumped off the bed and sprinted to Mayur’s room.
---
Scene: Mayur’s Room
Raj entered in his typical flair:
Raj:
“Bhaiyaaa~ your baby is here!”
Mayur (dramatically):
“Wait, wait, WAIT. I know this tone. What are you up to?”
Raj (innocently):
“Nothing... much.”
Mayur crossed his arms and squinted, waiting.
Raj shifted to serious mode, explaining his wish to bake something special for Gunjan.
Mayur (smirking):
“Okay, I don’t know everything about baking… but someone does.”
Raj & Dhruv (in sync):
“WHO?”
Mayur:
“Papa. He’s the real MVP behind Mom’s baking spree.”
In a flash, both boys vanished.
Mayur blinked twice, stunned.
Mayur (yelling at the door):
“Selfish people! I gave you the lead and now I don’t even get screen time?!”
---
Scene: Living Room
Mr. Verma was watching news, cup of tea in hand, looking like he had zero clue what chaos was approaching.
Raj and Dhruv entered casually, flanking him like bodyguards.
Mr. Verma (raising a brow):
“Now what’s going on?”
Raj (fake-casual):
“Nothing. Just... quality time with you. Testing your loyalty to mom.”
Mr. Verma:
“Hm? Loyalty?”
Raj (winking to Dhruv):
“You bring the groceries when she bakes, right?
So, you must know the secret list, right?”
Mr. Verma smirked.
He knew he’d been trapped.
Mr. Verma:
“Aaah. You two are cooking something… now confess before I drag the truth out by your ears!”
And he did—playfully tugging both their ears.
Raj (laughing):
“It’s for Gunjan. I want to bake for her.”
Mr. Verma (softening instantly):
“Oh... well, if it’s for my daughter, then fine.”
Dhruv (dramatically):
“Why does nobody love us?”
Mr. Verma:
“Zip it. Get in the car. I’ll guide you myself.”
---
Scene: Grocery Store
The three musketeers walked through the aisles as Mr. Verma explained the ingredients one by one—chocolate compound, baking powder, whipped cream, vanilla essence...
Raj:
“All this for one cake?!”
Dhruv:
“Feels like we’re opening a bakery.”
They loaded the car and returned, laughing.
Back at home, Raj gave his father a long, warm hug.
Raj (whispering):
“Thank you, Dad. You’re the best.”
Mr. Verma's eyes shimmered.
He patted Raj’s back gently, love pouring from his smile.
> “My boy is back... not just in this house, but in my arms too.”
Mr. Verma:
“Now go. Bake that cake. Pour your love in every gram of sugar.”
Raj & Dhruv (saluting):
“Aye, Captain!”
Scene ends with:
Mayur watching from the staircase, shaking his head.
Mayur:
“So I do all the background work, and these guys get the screen time and romance. Nice.”
