✨Author’s POV
That night, Gunjan finally slept peacefully, her breath soft, her mind still replaying the hug from earlier.
But in Verma House, another storm was brewing—Raj’s storm of planning.
---
Scene: Raj’s Room
Raj sat cross-legged on his bed, restless. His fingers were scrolling through random ideas on his phone when Dhruv threw a pillow at him.
Dhruv:
“Stop overthinking, Romeo. If you want to make her smile, let’s just play some silly bed games tomorrow at her place.”
Raj (half-interested):
“Bed games? Like what?”
Dhruv (smirking):
“Board games, UNO, dumb charades, stupid masks. Fun stuff. But we’ll need one more person...”
Raj (confused):
“Mayur Bhaiya?”
Dhruv:
“He’s already in. I meant—Nayan.”
Raj (shook):
“Nayan?! No way. She’ll eat me alive if she sees me.”
Suddenly, a voice came from the doorway—
Nayan (arms crossed, smirking):
“Oh don’t worry. I’m a vegetarian... you’re safe.”
Raj (froze in place):
“Dhruv, you traitor!”
Nayan entered fully, playful but firm.
“I’ve already spoken to Mayur bhaiya, and I’ve seen what you did at the hospital. I believe in second chances—not stupidity. So don’t waste this.”
Just then, Mayur entered, holding a basket of games, cards, masks, and snacks.
Mayur:
“Let’s roll the mission, Team Redemption.”

Scene: Sinha House – Next Day
The house was buzzing downstairs with elders chatting, laughter from the kitchen... but Gunjan’s room felt like time stood still.
She was bored beyond belief, confined to her bed except for washroom visits.
Suddenly—
LOUD CHAOS.
The gang stormed in like a SWAT team, wearing weird animal masks, holding UNO cards and shouting like maniacs.
Gunjan (startled):
“What is even—”
Her eyes welled up, completely overwhelmed.
Raj (kneeling beside her, softly):
“Oh no no no... no tears. I can’t handle your tears again.”
He gently cupped her face like cradling a flower.
The room fell into a brief, blushing silence.
Mayur (clearing throat):
“Ahem. Public display alert, folks.”
Everyone burst out laughing as Gunjan smiled through her tears.
---
Scene: Fun Unfolds
They played games. Laughed over UNO betrayals. Took way too many selfies.
At one point, Nayan and Dhruv were on one side giggling and clicking selfies, while Raj and Gunjan clicked soft, stolen-moment pictures with bunny ears and sleepy smiles.
Mayur (watching from the corner):
“Mujhe toh sab lovers lag rahe hain yahan.”
Dinner was served in Gunjan’s room itself, and the most heart-melting moment was when Raj gently fed her spoon by spoon, wiping her mouth, softly saying:
Raj:
“Slow, princess. Or you’ll choke, then I’ll cry again.”
Gunjan softly giggled.
---
Scene: Outside the Sinha House – After Dinner
Everyone said their goodbyes.
As Nayan was about to leave, Dhruv stepped forward:
Dhruv:
“It’s late. I’ll drop you home.”
Nayan looked at him for a second, nodded, and walked ahead.
Raj (teasing smile to Dhruv):
Bro-code telepathy initiated.
Dhruv (smiling back):
Message received.

Scene: On the Street – Verma Brothers Walking Back
As they neared their home, Mayur suddenly stopped.
Mayur:
“Raj... look.”
Raj turned around, and there she was—Gunjan at her window, a soft smile on her lips.
She raised her hand to wave.
Raj smiled, lifted his hand… and blew her a kiss.
She caught it in the air, smiled even more, cheeks blushing.
Mayur:
“My baby brother is in love.”
Raj (blushing):
“Shut up, bhai.”
Gunjan giggled quietly from her window, heart lighter than it had felt in weeks.
