✨Gunjan’s POV

Tears streamed silently down her face. She sat on her bed, knees to chest, her phone dimly lit beside her — still on the photo Raj had sent weeks ago.
The frame where they looked like a pair.

And across the table… lay every little gift he had given her.
The flowers, the bracelet, the hand-written note.

Gunjan stared at them, eyes burning. Jaw clenched.

Gunjan (to herself):
"I’ll show him. I’m not the girl who breaks and stays broken."
"How did I fall into this? Was I this easy to fool?"

Her breath hitched.

She grabbed her phone and called Nayan.
The second the call connected, her voice cracked — “He used me, Nayan. I feel like a joke.”

Gunjan screamed through her sobs —
“I don’t even want to see his face. I’m packing everything — everything he gave me. I don’t want a bit of him left around me!”

Scene: Gunjan’s Room — Minutes Later

Nayan entered the Sinha house casually, but her eyes were sharp — she knew something had shattered.

She climbed the stairs fast, reached Gunjan’s door and knocked gently.

Nayan:
“Gunjan… it’s me.”

The door creaked open in seconds.
Gunjan fell into her arms — no words, just sobbing, loud and messy.

Nayan held her tight.
Let her cry.
Didn’t interrupt — just stood like a wall behind her girl.

When the sobs finally faded to sniffles, Gunjan looked up, face stained in heartbreak and rage.

Gunjan:
“I’m done. I’ll stay away from him. I’ll ignore him like he never existed. He messed with the wrong girl.”

Nayan simply nodded, her eyes fierce.

The Next Morning

Gunjan hadn't replied to any of Raj’s texts.

Not a single one.

When she walked out for college, he was standing at the gate — silent, waiting.

She didn’t even glance his way. Just walked past him like he was invisible.

It happened again the next day.

And the next.

---

Two Days Later — Outside Her College

The sun was hot, and Gunjan was heading toward the auto stand with Nayan beside her.

Suddenly, her legs wobbled.
Her hand clutched her forehead.
And before anyone could react — she collapsed.

Nayan (panicked):
“Gunjan? GUNJAN!”

She dropped to her knees, holding Gunjan’s head gently.

A crowd gathered.

Nayan (screaming):
“Someone please call an ambulance! She’s burning up!”

Tears welled in Nayan’s eyes. Her hands shook as she dialed her phone.

Nayan (crying, on phone):
“Aunty! Uncle! Gunjan… she fainted outside college. We’re on the way to the hospital now. Please come fast.”

The ambulance siren wailed in the distance.
Nayan didn’t let go of her hand.

She kept whispering, “I’ve got you. I’m here. Don’t leave me.”
