Drops of blood fell to the floor, his skin and clothes had a bullet hole in them.

Not just his skin, his muscle.

Toby fell instantly.

Masky came out of hiding, punched the cop —which made his gun fall— and finally took his knife and cut his throat.

The one in blue uniform put both hands around his neck, in vain, he had already lost a lot of blood.

Rogers tell me you're still alive—he said approaching him.

—I wish i weren't—it was difficult for Toby to speak, he was bleeding and he barely could sit up.

—Alright, time to leave—he grabbed his left arm and put it around his shoulders.

They started walking as fast as they could, once they were far away Masky saw over his shoulder people approaching the restaurant.

—What the hell were you thinking?! Damn it, the almost caught us!

—I'd love...to answer...you, but i'm bleeding and it's difficult to speak...

Masky got them inside the garaje of a house, the lights were off, the owners were probably sleeping.

He turned the lights on and Toby falls on the workbench.

—Don't be loud.

—Oh i'm sorry, i have less blood in my body than i should and i'm starting to see blurry but i wont be loud—said with obvious irony and anger.

Masky showed a small smile and took a lighter out of his pocket.

—Give me your knife.

—Just do it quick... —he gives him the knife with little strength.

—Don't worry, but i might enjoy it a little bit —smiled and burned the blade of the knife— and you should bite this.

While Toby pulled up his clothes showing the wound in his abdomen Masky gave him his knife to bite the handle, staring at him.

He frowned and bit it.

Closed his eyes for a few seconds before feeling his skin burning for minutes, with his right hand he grabbed Masky's arm tightly and the other hand was resting on the table in a fist.

—Done, now turn around—Toby turnes and Masky cauterizes the wound again—. We have to come back to the cabin, start walking.

—I'll go later...

—Rogers don't even think i'm leaving you alone after what you did, the Operator will kill me. Let's go—he grabes Toby's arm but he pushes him with little strength.

Masky is surprised.

—I don't need you.

Masky's face changed from surprised to angry.

—I took a risk for you, people saw my face, i got my hands dirty for you and saved your ass. Do you really think you don't need me? —he raised his voice careful not to wake the owners— Alright Rogers, prove it.

Masky left skeptical and upset. He couldn't understand why Toby was acting like that, well in part he knew. He knew that their argument made him leave the cabin but he couldn't understand why someone who always did what he said and never yelled at him can't leave all that behind and forgive him.

Although he didn't say sorry.
