I plomp down on the chair, retrieve the Apple pie and pop the lid right there. "Yok I will treat you to anything you want, but don't you dare touch that pie." "Fine, breakfast, you and me alone....no Steve." "I can't do that. I told you...." "No Steve or no Pie !!"

"No Steve it is." "Amy I'm taking my friend to the coffee shop around the corner, please tell Steve I'll be right back. He can wait for me in my office. Thanks Amy. Come Yok. Follow me."

Five minutes later we're sitting at a table for two, having a full English breakfast, for one, coffee and cheese croissants, just me, Finn and my suitcase. "Talk ..I'm listening. Strike that. I'm not listening. Not anymore. How's Danai?" "Wow, you had to say the most hurtful thing didn't you?"

"Do I need to be civil Yok? What are you doing here. We broke up. No we didn't. You ran out on me. Not a word in two weeks, no explanation nothing. I said I would wait while you decided our future.... But Danai's dead, what was there to decide? Still you didn't choose me. What do you want here now? Do I owe you money?"

This conversation wasn't going as I'd hoped. He's mad and understandably so, but who is this Steve. I won't leave until I have Finn back, but my stay here may be longer than I planned.

I need a place to sleep and my financial resources are limited. What to do in a foreign country and you're not planning to stay long enough to require a job, but you do need an influx of cash. What to do next?.

To Finn's reluctance Steve invited me back to "their" office. Probably hoping I would decline, but I don't. I plan on making a nuisance of myself until Finn admits he still loves me. I'm going to sit right in reception until either Finn invites me home or a plan presents itself.

At least the lady serving me tea is friendly and she's Thai. What a surprise. She's full of praises for Finn saying how he saved her life. In no time I find myself telling her my story. I at least have one friend in this office now, one person who also thinks Steve is too amazing to be real ..... Su su na Yok. I'm going to need it. Mae, I wish I brought you along to win him over. I fear my mission may be doomed.......
