You didn't hear from him for ten days.
Not a call. Not a message. Not a whisper from staff.
Ten days of walking through the halls like a ghost, pretending you weren't the center of the latest UA scandal.
Kaminari stopped cracking jokes. Uraraka stopped asking if you were okay. Even Bakugo stopped glaring at you like you'd fucked up the entire world.
You weren't just isolated.
You were watched.
Every movement was monitored. Every mission offer was rejected. You were pulled from Aizawa's training groups, ignored during briefings, skipped over for leadership roles you'd earned.
It didn't matter how talented you were.
They didn't see a future hero anymore.
Just a rumor in a uniform.

You lasted until day eleven before something in you broke.
You stormed into Recovery Girl's office and demanded answers.
"I'm not a child," you snapped. "If he's suspended, why can't I at least know how he's doing?"
She looked at you for a long, tired second.
Then she said, very quietly: "He asked us not to tell you."
You froze.
"What?"
"He's protecting you. From association. From pressure. From himself."
You shook your head. "He doesn't get to make that choice."
Recovery Girl's voice softened. "Love isn't always clean, sweetheart. And it sure as hell isn't fair."

Later that night, you sat alone in your dorm bed, phone in hand, fingers hovering over your contact list.
You pressed call.
Voicemail.
Again.
Voicemail.
You tried five times.
And on the sixth, you left a message.
"I don't care if they silence you. I won't be quiet. I won't forget. I'm still yours, Shouta. Even if you can't say it back."
You ended the call with a breathless, choked whisper.
"Please... don't give up."
