You didn't notice it right away. Not until the third glance in the hallway from Midnight. The extra staff meeting you weren't supposed to know about. The shift in how Present Mic spoke to Aizawa when you walked into the teacher's lounge for feedback on your hero report.

Something had changed.

They knew.

Or they suspected.

Either way—Aizawa was on edge again.

He started canceling training. Took the long way around hallways. Refused to look at you during staff briefings. Even your classmates noticed. Kaminari whispered to Jirou, "I swear, something's up with Sensei. He's been weird around L/N."

You weren't surprised when you got summoned to Principal Nezu's office.

What did surprise you was who else was there.

Midnight.

And Recovery Girl.

And Aizawa.

His arms were crossed. Face blank. But you could see the panic in the way his jaw was clenched tight.

Nezu gestured toward a chair. "Have a seat, Miss L/N."

You sat.

"Do you know why you're here?"

You looked directly at Aizawa.

Then back at Nezu. "I think I have an idea."

They didn't ask if you were sleeping together.

They didn't have to.

Midnight led the interrogation subtly. "You're a very... close student, Y/N. To several teachers. But you and Mr. Aizawa seem especially attached."

You stayed quiet.

Recovery Girl folded her hands. "If there's anything to disclose, now is the time. There are ways we can protect reputations if we act responsibly."

Aizawa finally spoke.

"There's nothing to disclose."

Your heart dropped.

But then he added—

"...yet."

Everyone looked up.

"She's an adult," he said. "She graduates in less than eight weeks. Nothing inappropriate has occurred under school jurisdiction."

You almost choked.

Nezu tilted his head. "I see."

Midnight narrowed her eyes. "Shouta—"

"I'm taking responsibility," he said. "When she graduates, we will be together. I won't hide that."

You stared at him.

He'd just exposed you. Defended you. And risked his entire career... for you.

Later that night, when you confronted him in his office, you were shaking.

"Why?"

He closed the door.

Locked it.

"I'm done hiding," he whispered. "I don't care who finds out. I'd rather burn than pretend this doesn't matter."

You kissed him like your life depended on it.

And when he laid you across his desk again, it wasn't just lust this time.

It was love.
Reckless. Dangerous. Consuming.

And worth every risk.
