1. Don't use a lot of heat. Heat will burn your burn your hair and give it a burnt smell. If you use heat, use a heat protection.

2. Try argan oil. When you get out of the shower and your hair is damp, apply some argan oil to the ends before you dry it. Your hair will look more shiny and softer. However if you tend to have oily hair, avoid using oils.

3. Don't wash your hair everyday because your hair will become more greasy and oily. Although, everyone has different hair types, try washing every 2-3 days. Try using a dry shampoo when you don't wash your hair.
