Why is it that
Media has us taught
We have to be skinny,
We've been shown this since tots.
They say that to be pretty,
We can't wear a lot,
We get judged on what we do,
And what clothes we've bought.
They have this certain image of "perfection"
That no human could reach,
Without the help of photoshop
And a bit of magic for us each.
To me, everyone is beautiful,
And media is like a leech;
Sucking out the happiness and beautiful qualities
That they should actually teach.
