🌛CHAPTER 24🌜

*°Third Person's POV°*

Eden sits up straight in her bed, after waking up from another dream, his name rignt on her lips, but she couldn't say it.

Her bed felt even more empty than usual, the room was cold. She glances outside her window, too see snow has covered Forks like a blanket in silence. She got up walking towards the open window.

Eden presses her palm to the frost creeping up the windowpane.

"You idiot," she whispers. "I would've waited forever." A silent tear fell from her eyes, realizing she'd have to spend forever alone.

Eden found herself driving pass the Cullen house, before heading too school. The "FOR SALE" sign is buried under a foot of snow now. The windows were dark, no sign of life.

Eden couldn't stop missing him, or loving him, she knew she'll never be able to stop feeling like this.

Paul found her in the garage, staring at the dented passenger door of her Jeep—the one Edward always opened for her.

"You’re thinking about him," he says. It’s not a question.

Eden flexes her claws. "Doesn’t matter."

Paul tosses her a wrench. "Then make it matter."

Eden ended up not going to school that day instead she and Paul rebuild the Jeep's engine together. By dawn, her hands were stained with oil instead of frost.

When she got home, she immediately got into a very hot bath, scrubbing off oil from her body, she was busy getting dressed when her doorbell rang throughout the house.

When she opened the door, to find Emily with three pizzas in hand and a How to survive heartbreak playlist, loaded with Bon Jovi and agressive Taylor Swift.

Jared and Sam stood behind her with Non-Wolf approved horror movies as they put it.

Paul came dragging in a karaoke machine into her house. She stared at them with wide eyes, shaking her head. "No," Eden says.

"Yes," the pack choruses.

She could only end up agreeing to do everything since they did come too cheer her up after all.

By midnight, Jared ended up singing. Livin’ On A Prayer, completely off-key , making everyone laugh as he continues till the song ends.

Paul and Jared ended up wrestling for the last slice of pizza, which Eden ended up stealing while they were wrestling.

Paul was staring at Eden who was completely flushed and laughing while she was singing You Belong With Me into a spatula, dancing around her living room.

Sam being the ever serious Alpha, watches everyone enjoying themselves, when he made eye contact with Eden, he gave her a nod. "Better" was all he said.

Eden was glad when her chest didn't hurt as much when she breathes by the end of the night.

Another weak went by, and the pack has picked up on all Eden's little signs,  about the way she still tenses when someone says "Cullen." About the nights she accidentally walks past the empty mansion. About the frost that creeps over her skin when a love song plays at the diner, but they never showed her any pity.

Sam allowed her too spar with them twice as hard on the very bad days. Emily would make sure no music, or movies with romance would be playing around her. Paul would drive her to the cliffs when she's restless, he wouldn't asks ny questions, they would only sit there in silence, listening to the roar of the ocean.
