°🌛CHAPTER 11🌜°

*°Eden's POV°*

Edward drove me too school the following day, when we stopped at school, he quickly got out, opening my door for me. The entire school was staring, as we started walking toward the school building, I couldn't help, but feel uncomfortable.

"Ed, everybody is staring at us." I mutter, walking next to him.

"Not that guy. No, he just looked." He says, pointing at one of the boy's we just passed, that's when I saw his family looking our way, not looking very happy.

"Your siblings doesn't look too happy." I point out, Edward placed his arm around my shoulder, pulling me closer to him. "I'm breaking all the rules now anyway. Since I'm going to hell." He says with a smirk.

I was glad when the school day was finally over, getting tired of all the questions regarding my relationship with Edward.

Edward and I went for a walk in the forest after school, he didn't wanna go home just yet, not ready for his sister's wrath just yet.

"Does the person have to be dying, to get turned into a vampire?" I ask him curiously.

"No, that's just Carlisle. He'd never do this to someone who had another choice." Edward says, as we sat down on a bunch of rocks.

"How long have you been a vampire?" I question him curiously.

"Since 1918. That's when Carlisle found me
dying of Spanish influenza. The venom was excruciating, but what Carlisle did was much harder. Not many of us have the restraint to do that." Edward tells me.

"I thought they just bite?" I state in question, looking at him curiously.

"Not exactly. When we taste human blood, a sort of frenzy begins, and it's almost impossible to stop, but Carlisle did. First with me and then with his wife, Esme." Edward says, and I couldn't stop wanting to hear his voice, it was soothing listening to him talk.

"Is Carlisle the reason you don't kill others?" I ask him.

"No, he's not the only reason. I don't want to be a monster. My family, we think of ourselves as vegetarians, right, 'cause we only survive on the blood of animals. But it's... It's like a human only living on tofu. It keeps you strong, but you're never fully satisfied. It wouldn't be like drinking your blood, for instance." Edward explains to me, a beautiful grin on his face, the comment of him drinking my blood didn't even bother me.

"It's other vampires that's behind recent animal attacks?" I stated in question.

"Yeah. There are others out there, and we run into them from time to time." Edward says.

"Does all vampires read people's mind?" I ask curiously, he quickly shook his head. "No. That's just me. But Alice can see the future."

"That's pretty cool." I say with a small grin.

"Alice's visions are subjective. I mean, the future can always change." He informs me, jumping from where we were sitting, to the cliff down below us.

I couldn't already hear Scott and Lydia asking thousand of questions, once they find out about this.

I was sitting outside, busy going through a few boxes of Allison's things, that Mr Argent has sent for me. When I received it, I did cry for a few hours, after pulling myself together I found myself  outside going through everything, remembering certain moments.

Edward did scare me, when he suddenly appeared infront of me. "Don't scare me like that." I say, standing up, walking closer to him.

"I'm gonna take you to my place tomorrow." Edward says, out of nowhere, making me stare at him with wide eyes.

"You mean, like your house, with your family?" I ask, suddenly feeling nervous.

"Yeah." He says, smiling at me.

"Are you sure that's wise? What if they hate my guts." I question the vampire, making him laugh in amusement.

"So, you're worried not because
you'll be in a house full of vampires, but because you think they won't approve of you?" He asks, chuckling, finding this too amusing for my liking.

"Yes, I could careless about being in a house of vampires, being paralyzed from the neck down, unable to get away from a murderous lizard terrifies me more, but seeing that I do have feelings for you, and we're dating, their approval will make me feel more at ease." I told him honestly.

Edward smiles down at me, placing some of my hair behind my ear. "You're really something else, Eden Hale." He says kissing my cheek.

"I'll pick you up tomorrow." Edward says, with one last smile, he was gone, leaving me behind feeling nervous to actually meet his family, I fell on the chair, unable to continue to go through the boxes any further.
