*°Third Person's POV°*
Eden's eyes slowly opened up, she took awhile to adjust her eyes to the light, as she slowly started remembering what has happened.
"Eden? Thank goodness your awake." A familiar voice spoke up, following the voice Eden saw Lydia and Scott sitting by her bedside.
"Lydia, Scott, what are you doing here?" Eden asks, surprised to see them here.
"When Derek got a call from some mysterious guy, telling us your in the hospital, we all got on the first plane to Phoenix." Scott says, staring at the girl relieved that she has woken up.
"Ohh..." was all Eden could say.
"But with all honesty the story they gave the doctors, I don't believe it for a second." Lydia points out to her friend, Eden was more worried of where Edward was.
"You guys haven't seen Ed by any chance?" Eden asks her best friends, Scott moved a bit pointing to the figure sitting on the couch, fast asleep, but Eden knew he wasn't actually asleep.
"Is that him? The guy you started kissing, forgetting you were on the phone with us?" Lydia asks, a smirk on her face.
"Yeah." Eden says, a small smile on her face.
"He never leaves the room you know, Stiles was completely shocked when he came in here finding some strange man sitting next to you holding your hand." Scott says with a chuckle.
"Wait... He's here? What's he doing here?" Eden asks, she thought she made it clear that she never wanted to see him again.
"Yeah, he's here, with Malia. Your father and Derek and your dad are in the cafeteria, with Sheriff Stilinski." Lydia informs the girl, she only received a small nod.
"Are you finally gonna tell us what actually happened?" Scott asks, with a serious look on his face.
"Can I tell them? Just move if I can." Eden thinks loudly, and when Edward moved his head a little bit, she knew it was okay tell them.
"I was attacked by a vampire." Eden states, the two sitting next to her only stared at her in disbelief.
"Vampire?!" Lydia questions, shocked.
"He's one too, isn't he?" Scott asks, pointing at Edward, Eden slowly nodding her head, waiting for them too freak out, but they ended up taking it rather well.
"Eden Hale, human, with the healing properties of a werewolf, is in a relationship with a vampire... Who would have ever seen that one coming?" Scott asks shocked, not realising what he said.
"Wait, what healing properties?" Eden asks confused.
"We found out why your name was on that list, your father apparently kept it from you, but you have the healing properties of a werewolf, and also it turns out, Malia is your long lost sister." Lydia informs her friend, Eden was waiting for her to tell her she was joking, but nothing of the sorts happened, a groan escaped her lips. "That's just great." Eden states with distaste just towards the thought.
"Can you guys get my dad and Derek?" Eden asks, hoping to get them out, so that she can talk too Edward.
"Yeah, sure. We'll inform a nurse your awake." Scott says, the two quickly making their way out of the room.
Edward's eyes opened as soon as they left, looking at Eden, who was already looking at him.
"So, James is out of the picture?" Eden asks.
"Yeah, we took care of it, and the woman, Victoria, she ran off." Edward says, sitting down next to her bed, relieved she has woken up.
"Thanks... For saving me, Ed." Eden mutters softly. Stiles appeared by the door, only to see the two busy talking, he didn't leave, instead he stood next to the door, listening to them talk, he had no idea why he was even eavesdropping in the first place.
"No, don't thank meyou're in here because of me. The worst part of it was that I thought I wasn't gonna be able to stop." Edward says sadly staring at the girl.
"And yet you did, otherwise I wouldn't be alive." Eden points out, she won't let him win.
"Only because you said my name, it's what gave me the strength to pull away." Edward admits taking her hand in his.
"Maybe you should go back to Beacon Hills, with your friends." Edward dared to suggest, Eden was glaring at him at this point furious he would even dare say something like that.
"Do you want me to go away?" She calmly asks.
"I just don't want to see you hurt, especially if I end up causing it." Edward tells her honestly, Eden took a deep breath, Stiles eagerly waiting to hear what she was going to say to the vampire.
"Edward Cullen, if you ever dare say something like that again, there will be big problems coming your way, because I'm never leaving, I've finally found a place I actually belong, I'm not just abandoning that, because of something we can work on, and figure out." Eden states in a scolding tone.
"I'm sorry for saying that to you, and anyway where else am I gonna go?" Edward says, leaning forward kissing her forehead lovingly, while the couple was lovingly enjoying each other's presence, Stiles walked back to the waiting room, conflicted with his own feelings.
