🌛CHAPTER 7🌜
*°Eden's POV°*
Bella and I entered the cafeteria at lunch time, walking towards our friends, who was talking about mitts and frostbite. I glanced towards the Cullen's table, to see Edward talking, throwing his chips, back into his placed, he seemed to be frustrated about something.
I quickly looked away, when his head turned in my direction.
Just act like he's not here today E. I thought to myself.
"Yeah. Hey! La Push, baby. You guys in?" Eric asks, his attention turning towards us.
"Should I know what that means?" Bella asks, stealing one of Angela's fries.
"La Push Beach down at the Quileute Rez.
We're all going tomorrow." Mike says.
"Yeah, there's a big swell coming in." Jessica points out.
"And I don't just surf the Internet." Eric says, standing on his chair, like you would on a surfboard.
"Eric, you stood up once, and it was a foam board." Jessica states, making him sit back down.
"But there's whale watching, too. Come with us." Angela says, staring at Bella and I with pleading eyes.
"La Push, baby. It's La Push." Eric says.
"I'll only go if you stop saying it like that." I say, Bella nodding in agreement.
"Seriously, dude. It's creepy, man." Mike points out.
"What? That's what it's called." Eric says, clearly not knowing what he said wrong. "Bella I'm gonna get some food, you want anything in particular?" I ask her.
"Just a salad, if you don't mind." She says, sitting down, next to Angela.
"No problem." I say, walking away from the table, I noticed Edward looking my way, but I decided not to wave at him, since he was such a jerk the last time we talked.
As I was getting our lunch I started thinking to myself. I'm not use to this normality, there use to be some threat around every corner, that how it's been every day since I've been born, I always thought it was the curse of being born the only human in a werewolf family, but no, it was Beacon Hills itself. Now that I'm gone, I kinda miss it.
I didn't realise I've spaced out, until I heard a familiar voice. "Edible art?" Edward asks, making my lemon fall out of my hands, he caught it with his foot kicking it up he caught it, handing it back to me.
"Thanks." I mutter, peeling it.
"Eden." Edward says as a greeting, when I looked up at him, he had this look of confusion on his face, but I decided not to ask him about it, and brought up another matter.
"Are you bipolar or something? Because your emotions seems to change a lot on certain things." I ask him, rather curious.
"I only said it'd be better if we weren't friends, not that I didn't wanna be." Edward states, not really giving me an answer to the question.
"That's the part that I don't understand, unless you have some big secret your hiding, and your trying to push me away, or your doing this for no reason, and just trying to make me wonder what you mean." I say, staring at him.
"It means if you were smart, you'd stay away from me." Edward says, standing closer to me, that's when I saw the entire table I was sitting at, was staring at us.
"Ed, I don't care if you tell me why your acting like this or not, but I really just want you to decide if you want me in your life or not." I tell him, as I remembered a few unpleasant memories.
"I understand that, but I'd rather hear your theories." Edward tells me, staring at me, with a look I just couldn't decipher.
"Werewolf, shape shifter, hell, I've even considered Vampires." I say, that's when I saw him going stiff as a board. "But that's all crazy ideas, anyway that mask your wearing trying to keep people away from you, it's not gonna work on me, because for some weird reason, I'm drawn to you, and I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing." I say staring at my food.
When he didn't say anything, I glanced towards him. "You know what, let's just hang out sometime." I state.
"When?"
"How about tomorrow, after I get home from the beach, maybe then we can learn more about each other." I say, really hoping he would agree.
"Which beach you going too?" Edward asks, rather curiously.
"La Push. I would have asked you to join, but you don't seem like the kind of person that would go to a crowded beach." I say picking up Bella and I's food.
I don't know.
"Something like that." He says, after that we went our separate ways, when I got to my table I was bombarded with questions, but I was barely paying attention, as my mind kept wondering why he suddenly froze when I mentioned werewolves and vampires.

The weather the following morning, didn't agree with the group's plan's, because once we arrived at the beach, there was no sun shining, and I was pretty sure who ever would enter the water, may come out as an icicle.
"Hey, it's freezing."
"I'm paddling out, Coates." Tyler says, being the first crazy person in our group to head towards the water.
"I don't know if it's worth it anymore." Erica states.
"We drove all the way out here. I'm at least paddling out." Jessica states.
"Yeah. She's right." Mike says in agreement.
"You guys are babies." Jessica teases the two.
"So, I keep thinking that Eric's gonna ask me to the prom, and then he just doesn't." Angela spoke up, she sounded sad.
"You should ask him. Take control. You're a strong, independent woman." Bella says, looking at the girl wrapped in a blanket.
"I am?" Angela questions.
"Yes, you are." I state, smiling up at her.
"Hey, will you do me up?" Jessica asks, walking up to Angela, turning around, letting Angela zip her up.
"Bella!" Someone yells my friend's name, when she looked up seeing the long haired boy approach her, a big smile took over her face.
"Hi, Jacob. Guys, this is Jacob." Bella introduce her friend to us.
"Hey, guys. How you doing?" Jacob asks us, but we only gave out a sort "Hi."
"What are you, like, stalking me?" Bella asks, as he sat down next to her.
"You're on my rez, remember? Are you surfing?" Jacob asks her.
"Definitely not." Bella says.
"You guys should keep Eden company. Her date bailed." Jessica spoke up, talking to Jacob's two friends, I quickly send a glare her way.
"What date?" Erica asks, staring at me.
"She invited Edward." Jessica points out.
"That's were your wrong, I didn't invite him to the beach, I invited him too my house for dinner." I corrected the girl, starting to get annoyed with everyone staring at me.
"I think it's nice that she's befriending him." Angela said, she really was the most sincerest of the lot. "Everyone avoids him, most of the time." She adds.
"Yeah, 'cause Cullen's a freak." One of Jacob's friends states, staring straight at me when he said this.
"You got that right." Mike states in agreement.
I couldn't take them being so judgy about people that may seem different than others, heck my entire family was basically a freak show, they angered me.
I quickly drove home, climbing in bed, after putting a movie on, Edward never showed up that night, for some reason I felt hurt that he didn't show up, so I just kept on watching movies until I fell asleep.
