Have you ever experienced learning a big revelation in your life? Like you, you sometimes wished you didn't learn the truth; maybe things wouldn't be as complicated as they are right now. It's like boom, suddenly you know something you didn't before, and it changes everything.
It's a lot to deal with, you know? Makes you question some things. Are these for real or just my dreams or imagination?
Then you're all confused. You're mad, sad, maybe a little relieved, all mixed up.
You want to just forget about it, go back to how things were. But you can't. It's still there, and it changes things. Especially the moment I learned about why Mikhael is in my dream...
It turns out that Mikhael was one of my classmates back when I was in high school, and not just a classmate, but we have a platonic relationship.
It's just that I happened to forget about him now because he looked different back then; he's a nerdy and quiet type.
Unlike now that he can pass as University Crush, I still don't get why I keep having this memory of him and me, where we are on the bridge relaxing as if there's something special between us, and then another scenario where I was kneeling and begging for him while crying.
It is so confusing learning those right now. It is so confusing.
Why do I have to know these things now? Good thing our first semester is already over and we are just having another semester.
But while I am trying to code our homework in Java, which is under the Encapsulation category, I cannot help but think about those dreams and revelations. Because of that, instead of putting an "object" tag on the code, I unconsciously type "Jelo" instead. And guess what?
My professor just messaged me directly, saying, "Kindly revise your output. There are bugs, Ms.Aebram. Why did you write Mr.Romualdo's second name? Could you at least focus? This is an important exercise, not just a simple task!"
If you asked me where my head's at these days, I'd probably say sarcastically, "It's on vacation, daydreaming."
But of course I shouldn't be like this. Like my professor said, Mr.Dan, I should pay attention.
Good thing... Before I could drown in my thoughts, he said those words; actually, those were the words that I needed to come to my senses.
Maybe I'll deal with this dilemma after I sort out all my schoolwork.
I plan to ask Mikhael directly...
Also, I can only write my diary once a month because my schedule is getting more hectic, but I'll make sure that every month... I could put everything that happened last month.
