          Narrator's POV

Oliver walked home from school, his heart beating quickly. Lunch was a thriller, and he got his first girlfriend. The girlfriend's name was Alette, and she was the prettiest and sweetest girl Oliver had ever known. Even though Alette was a year older than Oliver, he still found ways to make their relationship work. Oliver was confident Alette would return his love because he loved her with all his heart. Oliver was sixteen, but Alette was seventeen.

Oliver walked home peacefully to tell his mother the great news when a pair of familiar hands tapped his shoulder. "Hi," a soft female voice said fondly. Oliver recognized that voice, and he turned around to see his new girlfriend, Alette, towering over him with a sweet smile. Her blonde hair and fair skin shone in the sun, and her emerald eyes looked at him lovingly. Oliver was a foot smaller than she was, but he didn't care.

"Hi," Oliver said softly. Alette bent her knees and kissed Oliver's forehead before taking his hand. Alette was popular at school, and she told everyone how much she loved her new boyfriend, Oliver, and how much she appreciated his innocence. Alette also stressed that boys should leave her alone so she could focus on Oliver.

Alette was also a cheerleader and the most popular among all those girls. Oliver remembered fondly watching her cheerleading practices; her movements were graceful and beautiful, like the person she was.

"Do you want to go to the ice cream parlor?" Alette asked.

"Sure," Oliver nodded. Oliver licked his lips, feeling the potential ice cream in his mouth. Alette giggled, finding it cute. She gently squeezed Oliver's hand, looking forward to seeing his happy expression as he licked the ice cream gleefully.

"Alright! Let's go," Alette softly said.

Oliver and Alette began walking toward the ice cream parlor. The place was called "Ocean Ice Cream." Alette's big hand felt soft and comfortable against Oliver's smaller hand, and she gently rubbed his knuckles (with her big hand) as the pair held hands. Oliver was already starting to think of Alette as his guardian angel; ever since Alette asked him to be her lover at lunch today, Alette has felt the need to protect him and give him all her love.

As Oliver and Alette neared the ice cream parlor, Oliver tripped and fell to the ground. Alette gasped and quickly knelt to see if he was okay. "Oh my gosh! Are you okay?" Alette asked with worry.

"I'm okay. I just tripped over something," Oliver said, holding his knee. Alette noticed a key by his leg and gently picked it up, reading the inscription engraved on the fine metal. 'Wonderland,' it read in elegant cursive.

Immediately after she checked the key, she turned her attention to her new boyfriend as he winced in pain. Oliver had a bruise on his knee, and it looked painful. Alette's heart swelled with sympathy and empathy as she gently touched Oliver's shoulder. "Oh, honey! I'm sorry you got hurt," Alette softly said, her voice filled with compassion. Oliver gently smiled as he winced at the discomfort of his bruised knee.

"It's okay...it's not your fault," Oliver reassured her. Alette smiled as she stood up and gently helped him up. Oliver took her hand as he pulled myself upwards, and she pulled him closer for a hug. Alette rested one hand on Oliver's head and the other on his back, embracing her boyfriend with loving care and protection. In return, Oliver hugged her back, wrapping his small arms around her waist.

"You're so sweet, honey. Do you mind if I call you that?" Alette asked softly. She gently looked down at Oliver, her smile adoring. How could Oliver say no to such an adorable gesture?
