Rebel Mendes (Shawn Mendes FanFic)

Chapter Four

"Oh yeah and I play drums too" that's what made their mouths drop.

"Woah you're like all of us combined" Chris said with Alexandria, Brian, and Stephen agreeing.

"Yeah I guess" I said excited. 'I love music' I thought to myself. 

"So what song do you want to try first since we all have the same music taste." Alexandria 

"Drown bring me the horizon?" I questioned 

"Yeah let's do that" everyone agreed

Alexandria started on the drums. Then Brian and Chris join in on bass and rhythm guitar. Then lastly I joined on lead guitar and Stephen started singing. When we finished we got applause from the class. I didn't even realize people were watching or even paying attention.

"That was amazing" a random guy tells us

"Thanks man" I punched him on the shoulder. 

"Best project ever" Alexandria said

"I think we're going to be great friends" I high fived her. 

"When and where are we going to rehearse and song write" Chris asked

"I know a video producer, some wardrobe and makeup artists, want me to see when they're available" I asked

"How do you have these connections" Brian asked

"Let's just say I have someone famous in my family" I said not wanting them to know about Shawn. The bell rang so I invited my band to lunch with my squad. 

"Squad meet band you can introduce yourselves" and I walked away to go get lunch while they talk.

"Guys!" I yelled at them 

"What!" Lucy yelled back

"Lunch on me!" The my friends came to the front with me and we got the last of the pizza. And sat at the middle table. This time no one bothered us and thank god. I ended up telling my band about why I'm a rebel now and they understood that. We decided on the name 'Fixed Valentine' as our band name and or covers will be "Drown and Jersey" then out of now where Grier shows up and I roll my eyes.

"Hey Rebel Heart" Grier snickered

"Hey Pussy Grier" I mocked getting oohs from my group.

"What are you doing here Grier this is my turf"

"Not for long" and with that he walked away. 

"This dude is impossible" I say to myself quietly. I saw a kid sitting on his own so I walked over to him. I know how it feels being alone.

"Wanna come to my table" I ask reaching out my hand.

"Yeah that would be cool" he said grabbing my hand and taking the seat next to me.

"Everyone meet new kid, new kid meet everyone" I say being lazy. 

"Thanks for the wonderful introduction" he rolled his eyes

"Eh it was nothing" I laugh

"My name is Connor" he says

"Don't worry does this with everyone" Michelle says

"I'm just having a lazy day, by the way band meeting my place today we can take my Porsche" They just stare at me like a deer in headlights.

"What?" I ask annoyed 

"Porsche?" Fixed Valentine asks at the same time

"Yeah" I show them my keys "I bought it myself"

"How did you get the money" Alexandria asked

"Racing" Lucy answered for me. I just nodded. Lunch ended and school was over, so me and Fixed Valentine walked to my car. "We'll pick up your cars tomorrow" I say as I drive off to my place passing around my aux chord.

"Get out" I yelled jokingly stopping the car in my driveway.

"Okay" every says with their hands up laughing. I walk to my door unlocking it to see Shawn sitting on the couch as my friends come in. 

"Why is Shawn Mendes in your house" Alexandria asked.

"Yeah" Chris, Brian, and Stephen said in unison 

"He's my annoying older brother who is supposed to be in Canada" I glared at him

"I just came to see my baby sis while on tour" he said hugging me. I hugged him back

"I'm not a baby I'm a sophomore now"

"Aren't you growing up so fast" he says to me in a baby voice

"Let's go to my room" I say to my band 

"Who are they" Shawn asked 

"This is Alexandria, Brian, Stephen, and Chris. Together we are a band called Fixed Valentine" I told him

"That's awesome!" He said. I lead them to my room upstairs and we started songwriting. We decided on writing a rock dance song.

We set up equipment in the backyard for the cover Drown. Once again Alexandria started us on drums and we all join in and Stephen sings with me as back up vocals. We all got so into it we forgot Shawn was here. 

"That was amazing guys, maybe I can take you on tour with me" he says laughing.

"Wait can you do that" I asked

"If I check with my manager then yeah"

"Awesome!" I hugged him tight.

After that I made some phone calls and an hour later video producers, directors, makeup artists, wardrobe, and camera men were here. They started our makeup while the others set up. We decided we didn't need want to tour with Shawn and wanted to do this ourselves. After hours in makeup, hair, and wardrobe we were finally ready to film. We got in position and the director yelled "ACTION" and we did Drown for real this time. Next we did Jersey. Then lastly our own song 'you're gonna go far kid' (I know its originally by the offspring, check it out) After that we all decided to make a YouTube channel, band Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, and younow. We posted all the videos on YouTube after 3 hours of editing. My mom texted she was coming home tomorrow so I paid everyone and Fixed Valentine is sleeping over since I'm their ride. Our intro to YouTube is "Hey I'm Calli, I'm Alexandria, I'm Brian, I'm Stephen, and I'm Chris. Together we are Fixed Valentine!" Saying the last part together. After we were done with everything I ordered 3 large pizzas one for my brother and two for me and my friends

"Hey guys after this project, do you still want to be a band?" Brian asked

"Yeah of course" we all say.
