The outfit I had been given to wear made me feel like a royal.
It was a white dress with long puffy sleeves- it had a corset attached to its front and a square neckline.
I rolled my eyes as I saw the way half my chest was on show- having no doubt who was behind outfit decisions.
Still when I entered the ballroom and I saw Louis, I realised just how much Lestat had thought out our families outfits.
Louis and I matched in colour and style- I had no doubt the other half of our quadruplet matched as well. Lestat had chosen outfits to show our family off- to show us as united- and it brought me immense happiness at the thought.

I crossed the room packed with people as Louis bowed and took my hand in his.
"Well don't you look handsome" I said with a smile, gazing at his piercing eyes under his mask.
"I could say the same to you" he said
Although Louis and my friendship could never be as strong as it once was, moments often passed between us where he filled the void of a brother... but only for a few minutes until Lestat would come over and Louis would back off.
And that is exactly what happened that night apart from the fact that Lestat didn't just simply walk over to us, he entered the room carried by servants and his shoulders held a cape like no other.
That was my Lestat, I remember thinking. Trust me to be engaged to the man every girl wanted to take home.
I smiled as his feet landed on the floor and the people around us started whispering and clapping.
He bowed a few times before he shrugged his magnificent coat off and walked towards Louis and I.
"My love.... Louis" he addressed us before he took my hand
