Chapter 13: Leo gets hurt

"Why the hell are you holding my girlfriends hand?!", Calum yelled at Leo and then punched him in the face.

"Oh my god, stop!" I yelled.

Luke and Michael held Calum back.

"Are you ok Leo?", I helped him up.

"Yeah, I'm fine.", he said.

"I'll take you to the hospital." I said.

"Why are you helping him up?!", Calum yelled.

"It was a misunderstanding Calum! And because his mouth is bleeding!", I was angry. I was as angry as I was when that girl at the party hit on him. "I'll tell you later Calum."

I walked Leo to his car and started driving.

"I don't need to go to the hospital. I'm good.", he smiled.

"No, your bleeding. Or at least come to my house and I could help you with that." I said.

"We could just go to your house." He smiled.

Oh crap. Now I'm going to have to explain everything to my mom. But I couldn't change my mind. I felt bad about Leo.

When we got there, I helped him into the house.

"How was the da- oh my, what happened to Leo?! Are you ok Leo?!", my mom freaked out.

"I'm fine mam. Thank you for asking." He smiled.

I helped him to the nearest seat.

"What in the world happened?", she asked looking at Leo then me.

"Um, someone hit me. It's nothing." Leo said.

"Nothing? You bleeding.", she said., "who hit you?"

I went to the kitchen and got warm water and a towel. My stomach was turning, I didn't want my mom to hate Calum even more.

"It's no one." He said.

I walked towards them and dip the towel in the warm water.

"Who was it Crystal?", she asked.

I whipped the blood away from his lip.

"Um, it was no one.", I said.

"Let me guess, was it Calum. He found out yall were on a date?" She asked.

"Um." Was all I could say. I hate lying but I got really good at it. I don't know why I'm getting nervous this time. "Yes."

"I thought so. That's why I don't want you to hang out with him." She said.
