Kirby Run Part one and Two

Part Two Chapter Twenty-Nine

"Hey, slow down! I can barely understand you." Francisca requested, still surprised at how fast Mango Cookie could talk.

"Ah, sorry. Basically I was saying that me and Chili Pepper Cookie have been looking for you."

Chili Pepper Cookie had stopped jabbing at the ice. "Wait, this is one of the Cookies we were looking for?"

"She is!" Mango Cookie confirmed, holding up the posters he was looking at to Chili Pepper Cookie.

"Ohhh, oh. I thought she was one of those creepy cult Cookies, my bad."

"Why would you think she was one of them??"

"I don't know, her outfit just reminded me of that group, that's all. Plus I'm still kinda salty that scary bride lady I met and her fellow member from that group got a bounty that's higher than mine for some reason, don't know what that's about but it's made the group fresh in my mind."

Francisca tiled head and looked down to examine her outfit. Chili Pepper Cookie wasn't wrong in assuming she had been a part of a cult, looking back the Jambastion Religion was definitely kind of culty, but there were parts of Hyness' teachings that did have some positive influence on her and her sisters.

This did make her wonder about the group Chili Pepper Cookie had mentioned, hopefully there wasn't another organization worshiping a dark lord of destruction.

That would be bad.

"Getting back to important matters." Mango Cookie spoke up "As I had been saying, Kirby and his friends are looking for you!"

Mango Cookie then presented Francisca with the posters he had been holding. One was a missing poster depicting her and her sisters, and the second was a missing poster depicting just her.

"My friend GingerBrave gave me these and requested I look here in the Tropical Soda Islands to try and find the folks on the posters, and low and behold, here you are!"

Francisca looked at the posters depicting her, particularly the one that had her and her sisters. For a simple poster it was the perfect depiction of them, and it made her miss them even more. And Lord Hyness too of course.

The incredible drawings made her think that Adeleine must have drawn these. Which would mean that wherever Kirby was, Adeleine was there too. It made her wonder who else was with Kirby. Hopefully one of her sisters, or at the very least Flamberge was with him.

"And I tagged along to help!" Chili Pepper Cookie spoke up, resuming jabbing at the ice on her legs with her dagger, she had managed to get a small chunk of it off "I was enjoying a nice stay at Watermelon Isle, but hearing the kid's plight and learning that he was helping my friend GingerBrave, I decided to help out. So see? I'm a nice Cookie!"

"Didn't you hitch a ride on my canoe because you had been robbing the islands around here to try and increase your bounty and you needed a ride back to the Cookie Kingdom?" Mango Cookie reminded her.

"N-no! That wasn't the only reason!"

"Oh yeah, my apologies, I almost forgot you tagged along because you thought the missing posters I had with me were wanted posters and you didn't want any more fugitives to compete with."

Chili Pepper Cookie's face looked embarrassed, Francisca gave her a look of discontent.

"Okay in my defense, I did still agree to help find you guys after the kid cleared everything up."

"How kind of you." Francisca replied with an amused hum, she turned her head to Mango Cookie.

"So you know where Kirby is?"
