Chapter 5: Plant Fight!
On the way to find and stop the oncoming Cookievorous Plant, Kirby and his three new cookie friends started conversing with each other some more. GingerBrave pointing out little tidbits and info about the kingdom and the wild area around them.
"And we're working on building a theater to play movies in!" GingerBrave was saying "We've got the construction mostly figured out, we just need to find some actual movies to play."
"Sounds really fun!" Kirby smiled.
GingerBrave smiled back "Yeah! It'll be open for everyone in our kingdom! And any neighboring kingdoms, cities, or villages! Like the Bear Jelly Village."
"What are Bear Jellies again?"
"Well, a Bear Jelly is a type of species in this world, similar to us Cookies." Wizard Cookie started explaining to Kirby "They're basically what they sound like, bears made out of jelly. They have the capabilities to make a food that's named after them. Bear Jellies."
"Ooh, are they tasty?" Kirby asked
"Mhm!" Strawberry Cookie nodded "We'll be sure to share some with you when we're done with this."
Kirby got excited by this, doing a little jump and tossing the mirror ability wand like a baton and catching it. "I would like that! (Especially because I'm getting kinda hungry...)"
As the team passed through a forest that looked like it was decorated with raspberries, Kirby could not stop looking at every little thing in this little land.
"Your world is so amazing!" Kirby complimented "It's so colorful, and pretty, and tas- TERRIFIC! Very, very terrific!"
"Ha, thanks!" said GingerBrave "Tell us more about your world, it sounds cool too!"
"I'm curious to hear about it too." said Strawberry Cookie.
"Oh Popstar? It's pretty different, but it's amazing!" Kirby joyfully explained "The main land known as Dreamland gets its name for being practically a dream come true! It's where anyone can be who they want and have all types of fun with their friends! Plus it's filled with various kinds of creative environments like meadows that look like they're from a fantasy book, and lands in the clouds. There's actually an archipelago of islands in the sky! Plus our world has all kinds of amazing creatures. Such as the Waddle Dees!"
"Wow." went GingerBrave and Strawberry Cookie in unison.
"That does sound amazing." Wizard Cookie's uncovered eye was sparkling with wonder "Question, what are Waddle Dees exactly? I'm guessing they're not a type of Cookie, and neither are you."
Kirby was surprised Wizard Cookie figured out he wasn't originally a Cookie so fast. But before he could address that, he quickly summarized what a Waddle Dee was.
"Waddle Dees are a prominent species on Popstar! They get their name due to how much they waddle. Most of them are orange or a very bright red, though there are some golden colored ones. A lot wear special hats or accessories to help differentiate each other, like how Bandana Dee wears a blue bandana. And no, they are not Cookies. And neither am I, me and my friends all got turned into Cookies when we got sent here."
"Aha, I had a feeling." Wizard Cookie nodded, proud that his assumption was correct.
"Huh, so if you weren't originally a Cookie, what are you?" asked Strawberry Cookie
"Me?" Kirby answered "I'm... not sure what my species is, there's not that many like me."
"Really?" Strawberry Cookie tilted her head "I'm sorry to hear that."
