"Ahem, bonjam." Francisca greeted.
Startled, the red ponytailed Cookie brought her hands out of her pocket and whirled around to try and make eye contact with whoever said that to her. Only to be greatly puzzled when she saw that no one was standing anywhere near her.
"Hey, who said that??? Show yourself!" she demanded "If you're trying to sneak up on me, you've got another thing coming!"
"Oh no, I assure you I have no intention of being sneaky, you're just not looking in the right direction. Perhaps try looking up."
The suspect did as Francisca had suggested, and upon her ruby colored eyes seeing Francisca floating up in the air, she fell back and looked up at her in fright.
"Wahh!!! W-where are your limbs??! How are you floating???!"
Francisca rolled her eyes and lowered herself closer to the Cookie, noticing more details in her appearance as she did so. She observed that her dough was a reddish color, and her outfit was some kind of jumpsuit with a red scarf and several belts attached to it. Above her right eye was a very noticeable scar, shaped like either an x or an oddly positioned cross, Francisca wasn't sure.
While analyzing this Cookie's appearance had been interesting, it wasn't something she had dwelled on for long, as she had noticed that two small rectangular fabric items had fallen out of the suspect's pocket. Looks like she had been right in her assumption.
"Hm, what do we have here?" Francisca remarked "Little kleptomaniac, are we? I'll be taking those back now, thank you very much."
"Hey!" the thief scrambled to pick the wallets back up, she then brought out a small curved dagger that was shaped kinda like a chili pepper "Don't even think about it! These are mine! Who do you think you are? The island's law enforcement??"
A sigh escaped from Francisca. "Do not resist, it won't end well for you."
To demonstrate her point, Francisca brought out her labrys- her special double sided, snowflake shaped axe- and pointed it at the theif, her expression widening in fright and her face looking cold as a result- and also due to the face that the weapon itself emitted a very cold air.
"W-woah! Hey lady! Chill! Literally chill! No need to get this violent!!"
"Heh heh, please, I am already quite chill to the bone." Francisca stated, bringing her labrys closer to her opponent's neck "You on the other hand, you look like you need to cool down..."
"Ack! Hey!!!" the thief yelped as she scrambled backwards, trying to back away from Francisca. Despite her fear however, she did not back down. Instead she brought out a second dagger, identical to her first one, and held them up in response to Francisca's threat.
"You ain't turning me into a popsicle lady! I'm not gonna go down that easily!"
The thief then swung her blades left and right in the air to try and ward off Francisca, which didn't work in the slightest, but it did make the ice mage's brow perk up a bit.
"Mm, feeling firey, aren't we?" Francisca commented in response to how the thief was swinging her daggers
"Yeah, and spicy too!!" the thief affirmed, swinging her left dagger at Francisca's axe when she brought it closer to her face. The blade made contact, but it did no damage, it did however create a small puff of steam, due to the heat the daggers emitted.
Francisca was almost impressed with how bold this thief was acting, even more so when she tried to stand up to have a better chance at fighting back, but Francisca pushed her back down by nudging her with her labrys' blunt end.
