Part Two Chapter Twenty-Nine

"Mm, glad you still have a steady business." Francisca stated, taking one last sip of pineapple juice before the cup completely emptied. She handed the cup back to the Coconutian waiter.

"Well thank you for the juice and all the information about this island, it was quite nice."

The Coconutian took the cup. "Aw, are you leaving us soon?"

"Yes, as much as I would love to continue relaxing here in this paradise, I need to set out soon so I can look for my friends and family. Especially my family, I'm worried they're just as lost as I am."

"Aw, okay. Thank you for your time though, and for all the ice!"

"Think nothing of it, ice is my specialty after all." Francisca affirmed, demonstrating her power by creating a small icicle in her hand.

Getting up from her chair, the ice mage stretched out a bit, floating up slightly as she did so before floating back down towards the Coconutian. "You wouldn't happen to know where the best place to go from here would be, would you?"

"Kinda? I've never really left the island before so I don't really know where to go, but if you do want my advice, I do hear the land of Crispia is pretty nice. There's plenty of ships over at the docks that go from here to there, so I'm sure you could hitch a ride on one. That, or there's plenty of Cookies here that have their own boats and canoes, I'm sure someone would be happy to give you a ride."

Francisca considered her options. "I think I'll figure it out, thank you for the advice though."

She was tempted to try and find this "Crispia" place herself via flying, but considering she didn't know how far she'd have to fly, it might be easier to hitch a ride on a boat. That, or she could stick to flying and just create an ice platform with the sea's water whenever she got tired. Although maybe her best bet would be to find someone who knew the place and how to get there. As she had said to the Coconutian, she'd figure it out.

"Okay then, take care Francisca!" the Coconutian waiter waved farewell.

Francisca waved back. "Take care little one, thanks for all the help."

"Help!!!" Someone shouted literally a few seconds after Francisca had finished saying that.

The ice mage turned to see what the commotion was all about, the shouting coming from the line to the soda stand. The one who had been shouting was a customer who had finally made it to the counter after waiting for so long in line, but was now frantically rummaging through their satchel in a panic.

"Help!! Someone stole my wallet!!" the Cookie shouted again.

"Wait, my wallet's gone too!" another Cookie in line yelled after pulling their hands out of their pockets "I had it right here! Who took my wallet?!"

Francisca watched the commotion go down from afar, she didn't want to get involved but she couldn't help but notice that while everyone in line started arguing and accusing each other, one Cookie was nonchalantly walking away from the stand and over to the volleyball area on the beach.

And it just so happened to be the Cookie who had appeared rather dubious.

Her eyes rolling with annoyance, Francisca floated up into the air and started floating over to the suspicious Cookie. She knew how to handle this.

The suspect was doing her best to act casual as she walked away from all the commotion, a small grin on her face as she firmly grasped something within her pockets.

"Heheh! If I'm able to pull this off on the other islands we're going to, not only will I be a few coins richer, but my bounty will also finally be up some more! Heh heh, take that you fancily dressed cheese-"
