"Oooh, hostile." Rando mocked. "We're not there yet."
He then placed his hands together, interlocking his fingers, and began to chant another spell.
"Why do I get the feeling he's not just doing that to be cute?" Yusuke growled, right before the water began to boil underneath his head.
"Hey, what's cooking?!"
Right on cue, a hideous, giant fish jumped out, almost chopping off his head if he hadn't dodged it in time. But when the monster returned, more shadows started to circle under the water.
"What the hell are those?"
Rando smirked. "I brought them from the depths of Spirit World. They're called Hate Fish."
"Hate Fish?"
Rando snapped his fingers, summoning a small demon within his grasp. "And through another technique, I've created a trainer demon. They're controllable and barely fierce. Watch!"
He tossed that small demon right at Yusuke. Rando's eyes glistened and within a blink that creature turned back to its original size. Yet, as it got close to Yusuke's face, Rando stopped him and made it fall right in the middle of the water where those Hate Fishes ripped it apart.
Within seconds, the demon's skeleton resurfaced.
"As you can see, they're very hungry." Rando grinned. "And the demon could defend himself. Imagine if he had been tied up. But enough about that, I want to try a move I learned much more recently."
He pointed his hand at Yusuke, shifting it into a finger gun. "The Spirit gun."
"What?!" Miyuki's eyes widen along with Botan's.
"How can he...?"
The tip of Rando's finger shined with a red Spiritual Bullet, and Yusuke's jaw dropped.
~BANG~
Yusuke gritted his teeth as his frame trembled. He felt something hot flow from his cheek and it landed into his eye.
His own blood...
"That's it!" Rando exclaimed. "That's the look! You have surrendered to your fear."
"That move..." Ruby said. "He must have learned it by simply watching Yusuke perform it just once."
"It was also several times more deadly," Genkai added. "This creature's adaptability and knowledge of the human spirit is incredible."
