Hiei grinned at the Urameshi siblings' snarl.

Seeing them so powerless, and pretentious to think there is a chance to defeat him.

How sad. But he ate it all up, greedily.

While Yusuke was busy shooting daggers, Miyuki scanned the area for some inspiration that could be of use. Her eye eventually landed on a blue plastic barrel. It was not far from Hiei's crate and was out of his sight.

One word was written on it.

Water.

She darted up more time before racing away.

"Wha- hey!" While Yusuke questioned her actions, it only made Hiei cackle.

"Yes, run along little girl! After all this game is only for the strong, so I'm glad you're so enthused, Yusuke."

Yusuke glared back at him. "Now with no more weak links, the game will be more exciting that way. "

"What game?" Yusuke demanded.

Hiei drew out the Shadow Sword. "The hilt of this sword is hollow and inside is the only antidote to stop the sword's effect. You get the sword, the girl will live, fun right?"

Yusuke trembled with outrage.

First, he kidnapped his childhood friend, and now it turns out he is gambling with her life and future.

"Too bad that sister of yours had run away." Hiei continued. "I must have scared her enough to make her choose the coward's way out of thi-."

~SPLASH~

He almost lost balance from the sudden water blow. "What the...!"

"THINK AGAIN, BITCH!"

Hiei twisted his head to Miyuki's-.

~WHOOSH~

~BANG~

Yusuke's fist made contact with Hiei's cheek, sending him flying into the air. With a quick backflip in mid-air, he found his footing on another crate.

Quiet the little team. Hiei wiped his face. "What happened, detective? Change of heart?"

Miyuki scowled as she had a shaky hand over the water tank.
