Kirby Run Part one and Two

Part Two Chapter Twenty-Eight

"Smell?" Kirby tilted his head, taking a little sniff and glancing around the room "I don't smell anything."

Dedede sniffed the air as well. "It did smell a bit when I woke up, but I think that was due to whatever Magolor was cooking last night so I opened the window. There might still be some stench leftover though, is that what you're smelling, Elfilin?"

"Maybe, it also might've just been in my dream."

"Your dream?" Kirby's eyes widened a bit "What happened in your dream?"

"Nothing bad, there were just a lot of really strong smelling flowers." Elfilin explained "I did meet a really sweet Cookie though."

"You did?!"

Elfilin sniffed. "Yeah, I forgot to ask her what her name was though. I just hope it doesn't turn out to be a real Cookie whose dream I somehow entered... I'm already super confused by what happened yesterday..."

"Aw I bet bud." Kirby gave his friend some comforting headpats "Don't you worry! I've got some friends who are helping me look into your dream situation, and we'll figure this out."

"Wait, you do?" Elfilin questioned, Dedede looking a bit confused too "Who?"

Before Kirby could answer, the three of them heard a knock at the door.

"Kirby! It's me, Adeleine! I'm here with GingerBrave, Strawberry Cookie, and Wizard Cookie. Are you ready to go?"

"Wow, they all got here faster than I thought they would." Dedede noted.

"I'll be right there Adeleine!" said Kirby, hopping down from the bed and carrying the golf bag in his tiny hands.

"Sorry Elfilin, I gotta go. I'll tell you more when we meet up at the Bear Jelly Balloon!"

"Okay Kirby, see you in a bit."

Dedede gave Kirby his approval in the form of a wink, and promised he'd gather everything they needed for the departure while he was out.

"Thank you Dedede! See you soon, hopefully this won't take too long!"

"Take your time ya pink silly. We'll be ready by the time you're done."

Before leaving, Kirby looked up at Magolor's bunk to see if he was awake. however Magolor was still sound asleep.

(Wow, Magolor must've stayed up really late last night, normally he never sleeps in.) the pink Cookie puff thought (It's none of my business though, poyo. You ready to go, Spelltwister Cookie?)

(*Sigh*) If we must, Kirby.

Golf bag held firmly, Kirby waddled over to the door to open it, only to realize he couldn't reach the doorknob, nor could he jump and grab it without letting go of the golf bag.

"Hey Adeleine? My hands are full, can you get the door for me? It should be open."

Kirby's request was immediately granted, as Adeleine opened the door pretty much as soon as he asked her.

"I got you Kirby." Adeleine greeted her pink friend with a wink.

Leaving the room, Kirby greeted and said good morning to Adeleine, as well as GingerBrave and the others, who were standing beside her.

"Do we have time for breakfast?" Kirby asked, handing the golf bag to Adeleine since she was better at carrying it than he was.

"Yes and no," Wizard Cookie answered "we don't have time for a full-on meal, but we did grab you some small breakfast foods for you to eat on the way to see Olive Cookie."
