Chapter Twelve

Erelos slowly turned around as much as she could in the tree. There in the next branch there was a figure. Erelos didn't have much time to think before a large object collided with her head.

Erelos's eyelids fluttered open and glanced around. There was a fire in front of her, and a few rugged and dirty elves sitting and talking. She squinted and realized where she was. The Elf Bandits' camp. Erelos pulled at the ties around her wrists, but it was useless.

Then out of the shadows she saw a familiar figure. Qeal.

Then to Erelos's surprise, she started to sing.

"Well, well, well. What have we here?

The daughter of Thranduil, hmm?

Oh, I'm really scared.

So you're the 'princess' walking in my forest..(laughs)

You're joking, you're joking.

This can't be the same gal.

She's desperate, she's pathetic,

All the bandits behind Qeal joined in.

Then Qeal stepped forward and continued.

Erelos was sick of this, she thought she could change the other's minds, so she joined in.

"You like to think she's a mastermind?

Well she'll be dead, but you're alive!

Just don't believe her, save yourselves!

Frankly right now, you're all stupid elves!"

Qeal scoffed. The other bandits started to laugh. The she-elf walked close to Erelos and continued to sing.

"You're joking, you're joking!

You think they'll be disloyal?

Be quiet! I can't stop laughing,

I'm drowning in my tears.

You're unbelievable, you're stupid.

Alright, enough now you,

Because now I think it's about time that we ended Thranduil's life."

Erelos gasped, but realized how stupid Qeal was to think that killing Thranduil would clear the throne.
