"I think that means you just have no proof."

"And I think you two are infuriating nuisances but that's just my opinion," I shot back, gaining me a glare from them both.

I dropped into my seat with a smile at the others until both of the boys next to me quickly slid closer, making me roll my eyes. They could not be anymore obvious with their intentions.

Ignoring them, I began to eat my lunch but I didn't even get to take a bite. "I figured out a way you can prove to me you're a little rebel."

"You couldn't even let me start eating before you ruined my lunch, could you?" I asked, dropping down my food and turning towards Mathew. "I already told you, I don't care if you believe me or not."

His look, disappointingly enough, doesn't dim, "There's a street race this weekend." Excitement flashed over me, excitement I did not mask quickly enough because his smirk clearly brightened. "You could be my passenger and prove you are rebellious."

I gave him a dry look but didn't get to comment before Felix jumped in. "You should ride with me. I'm the better driver."

"Bullshit. I've won more races than you have," Mathew bragged, making me roll my eyes and decide to eat while I could.

"That's only because you've competed in more than I have."

"I still win more of the races even when you do participate."

"You're more of an idiot than I thought if you actually think that."

"Ask anyone and they would agree with me."

"Only if they want to lie."

"They wouldn't be-."

"You do both realize that the girl you're fighting over isn't paying an ounce of attention to you, right?"

My glaring gaze shot across the table to Conner who smirks in victory, "You couldn't have just kept your mouth shut for five more minutes, could you?" Both of the boys looked at me with a dumbfounded expression while Conner laughed. I glanced between the two of them, "What? I want to eat and you two arguing seems to be the only way I can manage that."

"You could just agree to being my passenger," Mathew smirks, clearly not taking the hint as usual.

"I think she'd prefer my company over yours."

The two glared at each other and I groaned, dropping down my food, "I don't want to ride with either of you."

Mathew actually looked offended, "Any girl would love to be my passenger."

"Go find one of said girls then," I shot at him bluntly, gaining me a narrowed look. "I just want to eat. And did either of you even think about the fact that I have my own car?"

"We meant in the race," Felix says as though I was some idiot.

"Obviously I realize that. But if either of you honestly think I would give up a chance to kick your asses in a race, you know even less about me than you should," I said, my lips quickly forming into a smirk.

"You're planning to race?!" This came from both of them as well as Ruby, Robin and Tyler. Conner's just laughing at all the reactions, knowing from the moment it was mentioned that I would be racing.

A laugh left my lips as I nodded.

"The races are dangerous," Felix points out.

"And everyone in them is brutally competitive," Mathew adds.
