To Hell And Back

Broken,
Without repair,
A black insignificant dot in a sea of colour,
Yes insignificant and lost,
Lost fighting against the deranged labyrinth of her mind,
Fighting to stay sane,
Fighting for every step she takes,
Throughout the everlasting days of her own hardship,
Each step bringing her closer to being her own killer.
Her mind swelling with thoughts of her ruin,
Desperate to escape,
Those erratic thoughts swarming through her mind destroying ever other thing in sight;
Trying to overcome them,
And she knew she was capable and would be responsible for her oncoming destruction.
Fighting to escape the forthcoming feeling of not feeling at all,
Her demons were pulling her to the grave;
The shivers in fear of the affect this would hold against her loved ones,
A sick feeling settling in her stomach of her own ruin,
Calamity finally overcoming her last attempt to fight,
Finally coming to her end,
She lay in the deaths bed.
A tear fell as did the slightest glimpse at an old memory,
An array of faces,
Familiar,
Yet so distant;
At that moment she felt an adolescent flame growing inside her,
Sparking a sense of longing,
Her battle scars giving her strength;
If she may be lost along the way,
She would surely find her way back and finish this fight.
Calamity may have won the battle in her head,
But she has found herself once again,
She would devastate this oncoming war and come back as herself even if it wouldn't be easy from her;
And yet she knew she would make it to that happy place one day.
