Kirby Run Part one and Two

Part Two Chapter Twenty-Four

"Yo!! Hey everyone!!" he shouted aloud for other Cookies of the kingdom to hear "Look! Up in the sky!!"

Adeleine turned her head upwards to see what GingerBrave was talking about. Up in the sky was a large hot air balloon flying down towards the Balloon Dock area within the kingdom, the balloon part looking like it was designed after a Bear Jelly wearing a hat, and the basket looked like it was carrying a Cookie within it.

"Olive Cookie's back!!" GingerBrave happily exclaimed as he took Kirby and Elfilin and started bringing them to the dock, Strawberry Cookie and Wizard Cookie following the trio, along with Adventurer Cookie and Blackberry Cookie. Curious, and not wanting to miss what was happening, Adeleine followed after everyone.

The Balloon Dock was fairly simple in design, serving its purpose by being a place for the air balloons- or Bear Jelly Balloons rather- to land. The Bear Jelly Balloon slowly lowered itself to the landing pad, and landed safely in place. Once it had landed, a Cookie hopped out of it and ran up to greet GingerBrave and friends, who were eagerly running up to her.

"Olive Cookie!" GingerBrave exclaimed as he and Wizard Cookie ran up to her, Kirby following behind the two, holding Elfilin "Welcome back!"

"Hey everyone!" Olive Cookie greeted, pushing up her glasses. She had the archeologist look down to a t, boasting a well made explorers hat, a backpack full of archeological equipment, and a compass that could be seen attached to her belt. She also had long bangs that were an appropriate olive green.

"Thanks again for letting me use your Bear Jelly Balloon for me and my team's expedition!"

"No problem!" said Wizard Cookie "Though speaking of, where's your team?"

"They stayed behind at the museum to help out with the relics and treasure we found during our expedition! I would have stayed too, but I wanted to return your Bear Jelly Balloon first."

"Aw thank you!" said GingerBrave "So did you find anything during your expedition in the mountains near The City of Wizards?"

Olive Cookie nodded. "Mmhmm! There were all kinds of cool ruins and signs of an abandoned city, perhaps alluding to an old civilization of mages!"

Wizard Cookie's eye sparkled. "Go on."

"We sadly only found a few relics, but we did find a lot of valuable treasure! The relics themselves looked like they were tied to magic of some kind."

"Amazing! I bet Eclair Cookie was happy to receive such relics."

Olive Cookie chuckled at Wizard Cookie's words. "He was indeed!"

"Sounds like a great adventure!" Adventurer Cookie remarked "Wish I could have gone, but I was needed back here."

He smiled at Blackberry Cookie, who gave him an appreciative nod. "If you wish sir, you may attend the next big exploration miss Olive Cookie goes on."

"Thank you Blackberry Cookie."

"Say, Strawberry Cookie." Adeleine whispered to the pink hoodie wearing Cookie "Who's Olive Cookie?"

"Oh, she's a friend GingerBrave, Wizard Cookie, and Adventurer Cookie met during an important adventure they went on in the desert." she explained "I wasn't part of that adventure, but I heard that a lot of wild things happened!"

"I see." Adeleine nodded, she had noticed Olive Cookie seemed quite knowledgeable about things regarding relics.

Perhaps she could provide the info she needed?

Though it looked like Adeleine would have to wait to ask her anything regarding that, for Olive Cookie proceeded to let out a loud yawn.

"(*Yawn!*) I'd love to chat more, but I think I'm going to clock in, it's been a long day traveling back here."
