i definitely did not take inspiration from Sky: COTL while writing this

When I looked out of the window, I couldn't believe it. Thousands of white butterflies with alabaster wings fluttered in front of me.

The view was beautiful. I reached out my hand and one butterfly landed on me. Its glowing body contrasted the midnight sky, fragile wings slowly flapping. It had a light scent of stars. I let it go, and it flew off gracefully. Inhaling the night air, I wore my cape and took off, departing from the treehouse.

I glided through the clouds, controlling my magic cape skillfully. Majestic flying manta rays let out deep calls, breaking the silence of night. The sky was dotted with countless small stars, and the moon sailed like a silvery boat in the deep sea. The cool air rustled my hair, as i maneuver through the thick clouds to find my beloved friend.

Is this worth it? Is she even alive? Will I ever find her? These are the questions only time can answer.
