"Makes sense I guess," Yusuke replied, still a little dazed.
"Yusuke, you'll have to introduce me to this lady properly soon." Atsuko chortled before leaving the room.
"And how am I supposed to do that?"
Botan laughed a little sheepishly.
With a sigh, Yusuke pulled up the window blinds and then sat back on his bed. "So, how'd ya find me? I didn't even think I knew where I was."
"Nothing too special, I just used this compass to find Gouki." Botan reached into her pocket and held up a compass watch. "This can sense demon and spirit energies all around, so it wasn't too hard."
Yusuke gingerly took it from her. "This will make finding them a lot easier, but I think the real problem comes once they're in my face. Gouki was a lot stronger than I thought."
"The next two thieves will be even stronger," Botan hesitated, then said, "and there's another catch. Koenma didn't tell you this but you and Miyuki only have one week."
"Why does that not surprise me?" Yusuke sighed.
"I should be encouraging you, but..."
"I know, the odds aren't good."
Botan slid down to the parkette and leaned her back against the wall.
Of course, it will be anything but easy. Yusuke only managed to touch one of the three artifacts, but it slipped right out of his grasp. The tight deadline was no help either, especially when he was facing demons stronger than his fist.
How can he accomplish this kind of mission in less than a week?
"Yusuke, I made some tea for you and your friend, hope you don't mind." Atsuko walked into the room with three cups of tea.
"Oh my, thank you Mrs. Urameshi." Botan bowed then took the small cup.
"Yeah, thanks..." Yusuke got one as well and took a sip, only to almost spit it out. "Damn, I think I burned my tongue."
"By the way Yusuke, could you go to the hospital to pick up Miyuki this afternoon?"
Yusuke paused for a moment.
"What?!"
"Have you forgotten?" Atsuko tilted her head to the side. "Miyuki will come home this evening. Keiko already got her things yesterday, but since I'll work and she will help her parents at the restaurant you have to get your sister instead."
He almost dropped the cup onto his pants. Oh man, I had completely forgotten about it.
