Chapter 6 - Last Day

"I'm sorry okay...I am so so sorry" He whispered as I clung onto him, "Your right, you are so right Noah...I love you so much"

"I love you too Keane...I love you so much too"I didn't realize that we had an audience at the door until we'd pulled away,

"How much of that did you hear?" Keane asked Tayte, Angelo and Arii,

"All of it" they answered, I heard him mutter something under his breath but didn't decipher what,

"I'm going for a shower...I could also do with having some of your awesome pancakes Arii" and he got up and shuffled into the bathroom,

"That was gutsy" Tayte said,

"He needed to hear it, I've had enough of him thinking he can carry the whole world on his shoulders, when he has his family who love him right next to him to help"

"It's moments like this when I realize how lucky I am to have a family like mine" Arii said,

"I just hope me trying to make him see sense doesn't backfire and he pushes us all away further" Angelo came over and hugged me,

"It won't..."

"I think it's because he's been acting like an adult for so long, he hasn't realized that we're all older now. He's had a lot on his plate, I know he was 19 when your parents disappeared, but that is still young to be taking on responsibility, all he's known is looking after you, even when we were all young...I can remember him being the big brother looking after his baby siblings, he's always been so protective of you, he loves you to pieces and just doesn't want anything to happen to the two people in this world he cherishes the most" As soon as Tayte had finished speaking the bathroom door opened and Keane appeared,

"Three" Keane said,

"What?"

"You said the two people I cherish the most were Noah and Arii, but there's three...I cherish you the most too" The door then shut again.

"Oh God, I'm going to start crying in a minute" Arii said "I'm off to make breakfast, I'll try not to cry into the batter" Tayte kissed her before she left,

"I didn't realize I was walking into the most loving and closest bonded family in the world" Angelo said, I smiled,

"Your part of the family too"

"Not as..."

"Shut up and kiss me" Angelo grinned and embraced me with a loving kiss,"That is my cue to leave...in case you begin to make out" Tayte said, we both laughed,

"Love you too" I said,

"Love ya kiddo" It was true. What the 4 of us, Keane, Tayte, Arii and I had, were what people only longed for, what we had was more than a bond, more than friendship, what we had was love and that love was so strong, it outweighed anything else. Our love was the one thing that nothing could destroy. When you have the love that we do for each other, nothing else matters, because you know that no matter what, you'll always have each other by your side.

Keane came into the kitchen after half an hour changed and looking refreshed and more...more alive.

"I've nearly finished" Arii said,

"Do you need any help?"

"No, you can go and sit, I'll literally be in, in 2 minutes, I banished everyone else so you can't be an exception"

"Then why is Noah still here?"

"I'm gone" I said, running out laughing.
